Very low quality built cheap toilets which have deteriorated – These toilets are of such bad quality. The glaze after a few years wears away and deteriorates leaving awful and unsanitary bare concrete in the pan. They come with a 10 year warranty which isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. They don’t flush properly and The plastic seats also deteriorates like the cheap glaze/porcelain they are covered in. … Read more
When I contacted Mondella the so called “technician” acknowledged in writing this was a common problem but can be rectified with a good clean. Unfortunately once the glaze has deteriorated you can’t clean bare concrete marks. I’ll be ripping these toilet suits out and returning them to bunnings or taking bunnings/mondella to the tribunal if a resolution is not reached.
Rubbish. Stay away from Mondella – Had 2 rimless suits installed 2022 one has cracked and the cistern lid doesn’t fit flush. Contacted Mondella who said something must have been dropped in the bowl and as for the lid suggested a way for me to fix it. The second toilet the lid creaks and groans when sat on. Will never buy Mondella again. Show details
Looks good & does the job – First of all we had difficulties installing - instructions are not good. However there's a YouTube video that was helpful (from member of the public). It was a long process as we had leaks & they were consuming to identify: one from seal coming from toilet bowl and one from the cistern. Sealed them up with water proof sealant. Now functioning… Read more
fine. No issues with flushing or cleaning issues as other people have mentioned. It looks great and works fine. We would install another now that we know what issues to look for (well so far so good anyway ) Also within the bowl has practical architecture as many modern toilets now have an internal shelf that catches "deposits" - the concerto has a better bowl design! Hope members find this review helpful :)
Condensation And leaking – I have bought A Mondella Concerato and i keep getting water leaking in front of the pan and the pan feels cold had plumber inspect for other leaks the leak doesn't smell he seems to think it is condensation and the porcelain is porus has anyone heard of this myself and plumber are stumped Show details
Poor quality for expensive price – I bought the expensive uk red bus mondella toilet seat and within a year the cheap quality hinge broke. I contacted mondella who referred me to Bunnings who don’t supply the hinge. Bunnings contacted the supplier mondella who said they don’t sell hinges separately so I have an expensive toilet seat with a nice picture on it without any hinges. Never buy mondella again. Blocks easy – I’m not even a BIG meat eater yet twice now my Mr Hankey’s have had me fetch a bucket with my pants round my knees. Either go vegan or go Caroma. Show details
Cheap rubbish – No harder to install than similar caroma models. But after two cracked cisterns, the second had been patched poorly from the factory and sprayed over, I could not recommend this brand and will definitely never use again. Show details
Great unit for the price – Very good pan for the price. Have installed quite a few and they are problem free. Highly recommended product. Have not had any of the mentioned issues of seats coming loose etc. Show details
If Only We Knew – Builder chose this toilet for our En-suite renovation - It doesn’t flush well on either half or full flush - have to use the toilet brush every time there are #2’s as residue sticks to porcelain - doesn’t rinse off like our main bathroom toilet. Cheap and nasty. Now about to spend more money on a reputable brand. Show details
Cracked bowl – installed 2 of these toilets from bunnings 3yrs ago one has started to hairline crack in the base of pan have contacted manufacture despite it having 10yr warranty on manufacturing faults they have refused as its been 3yrs?have contacted ACCC. Now they are offering free replacement but no instl Show details
Has to be cleaned every day – Poo sticks around the base of the bowl and needs to be cleaned daily. This did not happen with the toilet that we replaced (same bathroom and same users). Seems like a design fault to me, with the flush water cascading over the bowl lip at the base of the toilet, rather than washing over the porcelain. Show details
not happy... twice – fitted toilet but have a problem of septic smell coming from the bowl every time its windy.. we are on septic and bore water... the old 80s toilet we took out didn't do it and even funnier is that the last mondella toilet we fitted at the house we just sold was doing exactly the same thing.. to me it seems like the bowl doesn't hold enough water causing back smells.. not happy Show details
Mondella Concerto Toilet Suite – Mondella Concerto Toilet Suite - had 4 of these Concerto toilet suite installed. Looks very sleek and modern and is very heavy. No issues except it does get clogged every 6 -8 months and need to pour bucket of water to force it to drain properly (currently have s trap installed). Uses very minimal water and great water saver. Top of plastic lid… Read more
and toilet seat does get scratched very easily. Overtime you will notice several minor scratches on the lid and seat when well lit at night or during the day. The seat is slightly slimmer than the other toilet seats and you will notice its not as comfortable to sit on compared to the older toilet seats where they have a wider seat.
None of the concertos have discoloured since installation and is very easy to clean. However i have noticed the chrome dual flush buttons have started to corrode on one of the toilet suites. Otherwise the Mondella Concerto is a great looking toilet suite and water saver.

Don't waste your time – This toilet looked great and we were excited to update our bathroom with it. Unfortunately, after it was installed we were unable to attach the toilet seat. The holes in the porcelain toilet were too small to accept the fittings that were included with the seat. Complete waste of our time. Show details
Great flush – Bought this from Homebase Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, it's the best close coupled toilet I've had, I've had no problems with poo sticking I can't believe this product rating is 1.5 out of 5 it's nonsense.
Bad luck with Mondella – Purchased a new Toilet, kitchen and basin flick mixer. The kitchen flick mixer started to leak on the bottom of the spout in less than 3 years. The basin is now showing signs of leaking in the same area as the kitchen one. AS for the toilet, this was bought in a separate purchase. The bowl is like super glue for poo. I have to brush each and… Read more
every time I use the toilet. Unfortunately I have misplaced both receipts. Bunnings said that they can't help me and when i phoned Mondella , I was told that no one else has had this problem, again no receipt. (Ten year guarantee ) what's is frustrating is that Mondella hasn't been supplying Bunnings that long.
Poor design – I bought this toilet before doing the final plumbing to my new bathroom. The cistern has designated hole in it for your mini tap which was the same as my last toilet 2 years ago. While installing the toilet I went to set up the water and realise the tap has to be out side of the toilet as the connectin to the inlet vale runs through the bottom… Read more
of the cistern. When opening cistern to to see where a mini tap would be it is where they had the designated hole. I now have to buy another toilet.
Sticky P – Poor glazing of the pan causes the p_ _ to stick to the sides of the pan instead down the hole of pan. Shape of the pan also add to the sticky problem. Very irritating as you need to clean pan every time. Does not happen with my old toilet suite.
