Hi I’m on my second Mondello toilet seat $79.95 from Bunnings and the lid has cracked right across again we have had it a few months! It was a perfect fit and not tight anywhere why is this happening I looked on reviews and I’m not the only one this has happen to.

3 days ago bought a Mondella Resonance adult/children from Bunnings $89.99 I installed it to position without tighten the screws fully with the intention of tightening it firmly without the seat over the screws. As I could not see any buttons I decided pull the seat off, in doing so the seat cracked. Bunnings would not replace it so I ended up buying a second one at full price. My question still remains how do you remove it without breaking it, as I have remove it to re tighten it. Bunnings was not able to explain it.

Purchased one two weeks later I exchanged it as the light kept coming on and batteries were last 2 to 3 days. The replacement seat is no better and we are not using cheap batteries. Bad batch perhaps or is this normal in which case the seats are a joke.

We have installed the toilt seat. The LED light turned on when we first put the battery in but no light works once it is installed into the seat. Please help?

when attaching the seat to the hinges should the seat go almost all the way down to to the of the base of the hinge ?

Hi As I was told at the Point of Purchase today, that once I open the sealed plastic covering from the toilet seat packing I would not be able to exchange or return it I seek clarification for the following query of mine ... after purchasing a Mondella Resonance Family Toilet Seat, When I removed it from the box and measured the distance from the centers of the 2 fitting holes of the seat I realized that it was 130 mm. The distance from the centers of the 2 fitting holes in my toilet commode is 165mm. - As everything is concealed and sealed, I cannot see to understand, if there are any adjustable fittings inside to enable me to extend the distance between the fitting holes of this Mondella Resonance Family Toilet Seat, so as to extend from 130mm to 165mm. Can you Please Let me know if there are any fittings inside this pack to enable me to extend the fitting hole from 130mm to 165mm, so that it could be attached to my toilet commode.
Hi there most of the toilet hardware ie the pins that locate through your porcelain toilet can be rotated around giving larger or smaller distances to fit into the seat. Hope this helps.
can you please tell me why we cannot purchase self close inserts which control close rate of seat and pan.They are simple to change .If we need to replace whole assemble for new seat it is a lot to send to landfill Might ask Teacey Grimshaw of This day tonight to look at this simple problem as we have huge problem re plastic recycling and this problem could be so easily resolved simply by you providing replacemrnt parts instead of providing new seat assembly under warrenty Yours truely Derek
I'm trying to remove the seat from a top fitting attachment. Can't find any kind of release button or mechanism for detaching the seat from the toilet. Any assistance would be amazing!
Hi Lach, As far as I can see it has no release button (I just installed one)... Lift the seat into upright position, grab all components and just give it a tug until it lets go. Worked for me (I needed to put the white caps over the bolt) and re-attached fine.
You need to push the button in the middle in and it releases the seat. its easy as!
How do I change the batteries in the Mondella LED toilet seat?
Hi, I need some advice please. I have brought a Mondella Resonance toilet seat with LED light but can't get to the battery compartment, its covered by the seat edge, is the a trick I'm missing ?
Pull the entire seat out and change the battery. You’ll need a Philips screwdriver 2 AAA
It was very tricky for us, you have to force a screw driver right in the gap before you lift the tag, you dont just pry it up

Hi there, bought a toilet seat Mondella slimline concealed BU23303 on 06/12/19 from Bunnings. Now the soft close mechanism failed. This is still a warrantee case. But can you tell me how to change the cylinder because of all your good intention this part will fail again outside the warranty. Thanks Regards Dieter F
The instructions which came with my now binned Mondella seat said that warranty operated only if the seat was installed by a licenced plumber. Ludicrous, of course, anyone can install a toilet seat. It might still be worthwhile to take the seat back to Bunnings. I don't know much about soft-close mechanisms, haven't had one on a toilet seat for a long time.

No installation instructions in the box . Why not?
I seem to recall having a sheet of limited instructions with the box I got. You could ask the retailer for an instruction sheet (I got mine at Bunnings). What annoyed me though was that there was a sheet which said the warranty was void unless the seat was fitted by a licenced plumber. I am a decrepit old man and managed to fit the new seat in 5-10 minutes. If you look at how the previous seat was fitted, the new one should be the same. There are two plastic wing nuts to locate at the back, with bolts going through holes in the bowl top and through the lid base/hinge point. The hardest part is getting down and reaching the wingnuts!
