Is this really a company? – I know it's the Christmas period but I filled in the form 21st dec and heard nothing back from all the companies recommended. Did a 2nd request on the 31st Dec and still didn't hear from one company. I somehow wonder if this is really a company? Don't waste your time.

Hopeless Do not waste your time – Requested 5 quotes online for an interstate move. After 5 days no quotes and still waiting. Sent an email requesting information. No reply after 2 days and still waiting. A waste of time.

They saved me so much time – I got quotes from removalists within a few minutes and when I booked my move the removalist arrived on time and all my goods arrived as scheduled and in perfect condition. Next time I move I will use Moving Select again.

Saved me so much hassle! – Moving house from Ballarat to St. Kilda should have been quite the headache but all it took was filling out my details on their website and it made the job quick and stress free! Although I think the website needs updating looks a bit tired...

Ripped off by dodgy company – Nothing is what it seems. Do not use this method. Have been left dejected and unsupported. Thought this would eliminate the dodgy operators only to land the biggest one. All our furniture was damaged and the company listed disappeared without trace. Thought Moving Select could follow it up as it was one of there companies. Nothing back here either. Wished I'd paid more for a more recognised company.

Still waiting on furniture 10 days after it was collected – **Update: The company that they sold my lead to is not even registered with AFRA, this means they have no code of conduct to follow and are not regulated. ...... furniture 3 days overdue. Not to mention, the removalists tried to charge extra when they came which ended in me having to give away a lot of stuff because I was moving states the next day. My advice is to go through companies that advertise themselves and that have a lot of good and diverse reviews.

Looks like a racket – Moving Select allow fake removalists to rip you off, they get removalists to call and send quote, you pay half the quote and removalist never arrives. complaints for being late and didn’t have time to get your stuff’ When you go to Fair Trading the removalist lies ‘saying their truck got bogged in your yard and they offered you a partial refund’ yes they offer less than half your deposit but never give it to you anyway. In any case you have to get another removalist, without using Moving Select. So if you want to throw hundred of dollars away by giving it to fake movers, use Moving Select, they don’t care if they promote crooks. But for Moving Select I would have had my furniture moved.

Still Waiting – Had a phone call with in 1 hour trying to up sell but still haven't received a quote for removalist to quote on what I required. Better off just ringing removalist direct

Not a trustworthy company – Thought we would try this company to help select removers but what a massive mistake that was. Had a complete disaster with the recommended removers to the extent they caused $5000 damage to our furniture during the move. situation as did the removers they recommended. Very poor excuse for a company especially as they are supposed to be recommending professionals. This was obviously not the case with our move. Would never use or recommend this company ever to anyone.

All I wanted was insurance for moving – Found these guys for quote all I wanted was an insurance quote for transit insurance. NOT damn moving home. Once I completed form it said removalists will contact you. Now I have removalists calling all day!!!

Bad idea! – I thought I'd give this a go assuming that I would get an email comparing the costs of several companies. Instead I got flooded with phone calls, emails and text messages the next day from different removalists. Really unprofessional service.

Avoid – Inundated with phone calls from Removalists,(one of which I had used before which was appalling ie AAA removals) No filtering,and continual calls from MovingSelect to connect my electricity and phone for "free"hmm no thanks. Better off checking Product review and doing the research yourself.

Shared my contact details, got one email quote and over twenty phone calls and voice messages – I used this service hoping to get some comparable email quotes, but I didn't really get any. I just got inundated with phone calls and multiple voice mails. Some companies kept on leaving messages at odd hours of the days even 3 weeks after my nominated move date. collect your details, sell the lead to multiple vendors and then leave them to harrang you of their own free will.

Needless to say with no good email quotes I found my own removalist online, got a quote and an easy understanding of the costs etc - that's what I expected but did not get from movingselect.com.au / compare-quotes.com.au.
