Tasteless and ripoff – Tasteless. Taste watered down even when adding less water than the recipe states. You supply most ingredients. A rip off. Not a nice tasting meal in fact none of Mr Chen’s boxes are nice. Show details
Delicious meal lots of prawns and the flavour was great – I was craving Asian food and called 3 local restaurants and then realised that they all have Mondays off .. So I went to Woolworths and wandered around the freezer section .. then went over to the fridge section and saw this .. Thinking well if it doesn’t have enough flavour I can doctor it .. To my surprise it was delicious.. a glass of red wine went down perfectly with it Show details
Seafood nasi gorang – I have brought this company’s products for a while now and have recommended them. Recently brought the Nazi gorang and was terribly disappointed, it had no flavour at all. The box said “seafood nasi gorang” that was the only representation of seafood that was evident. It had no taste at all, very disappointing. Don’t wast your money on this one, doesn’t even deserve 1 star

First time shame on you – Horribly overpriced for ostensibly a pack of noodles... Look at the photo.. Can u see veges as per packet.. And yup I did find the ONE bit of meat among all the noodles. Never again. Worthy of "the checkout" recognition Show details

Worst ready meal ever! – I was looking forward to a yummy and convenient noodle dish and found this at Woolworths in the freezer section. After heating, as per instructions, it did not look very appetizing. I took one mouthful and had to spit it out! It was so salty and just horrible to eat. At $7 for the packet it was a total waste of money. Will NEVER try this brand again. Show details

No beef in this! – I bought 5 different Mr Chen's meals from Woolworths and I will never buy these again. They contain ONE tiny square of dry, over-processed meat and the rest of the meal doesn't even taste good. Don't waste your money, you'll be sadly disappointed! BOOO Mr Chens!!! Show details

Rubbish product - Mr Chen's Black Pepper Beef Noodle – This product was purchased on 19/10/2019 at Woolworths in Matraville Sydney at $7.00. When Mr Chen's Black Pepper Beef Noodle were heated up as per directions, the noodles were dried and stuck together. The 1 and only piece of beef chewy and tough. I've eaten hospital food of a higher standard of quality. Show details

Almost inedible – Purchased Szechuan Chicken Noodles and Lemongrass Chicken. The chicken was only 9% of the product and hard to find. The veggies were not nice. The rice was just one big lump that did not defrost properly. Show details

It was a gooey sticky mainly noodle meal . It contained three small chewy pieces of beef . I bought it on special but won’t be trying any other meals by this manufacturer again it was so bad Show details

where's the beef? – Puchased two containers of Mr chen's new black pepper beef noodles from woolworths today.I have enjoyed their dumpling range very much in the past so I was very excited to try this. This was NOTHING like their quality dumpling range. The noodles were soggy, stodgy and broken into small cm sized pieces. five shrivelled up pieces of broccoli… Read more
floated around in the container with absolutely no traces of beef to be found. Laws need to be in place that prohibit marketing the product as BEEF if it's contents are 8% of total weight . This needs to be removed from their product range or drastically improved to avoid tarnishing the Mr. Chens brand.
