I love Mr Chen’s Malaysian Laksa. Actually to be clear, I LOVED it. I loved the tangy flavour.. the ORIGINAL recipe has coconut milk and sauce mixture which was lovely with soft Singaporean style noodle you boiled with the sauce EASY.. the NEW RECIPE is awful.. now with a separate paste and powder and now the noodles are dry & you have to boil… Read more
them first. The new totally different flavour is AWFUL and NOT like the beautiful sour laksa taste at all. The spices are all wrong now. This change is TERRIBLE! Why did you do this Mr Chen’s. Please give us back what we loved!!!!!!
Nice flavour but a tad too sour – The laksa is a tad too sour, need to reduce the tamarind paste a bit. Besides that, the flavour overall is good, broth is thick and creamy. I didn’t use the noodle as the portion seems too small for 2 people? I replaced it with Udon noodles instead. Show details

Less than ordinary, much less – The picture on the packaging is entirely fraudulent. No large prawns, just 4 tiny shrimps. Minimum amount of noodles, way to much salt (1440 mg), altogether, not mouth worthy. My first and last Mr Chen's adventure. Use by date 20/05/24 Show details

This taste like crap – Taste and looks nothing like a Laksa looks more like if a baby had chronic irritable bow syndrome and that was the end product and guessing the taste is probably not far from it Show details
