Mr Chens Pad Thai Noodles Bought the noodles on their own for making a Pad Thai. Followed the instructions they were very firm/al dente/uncooked. I even added more water with the rest of the dish, cooked another 10 mins (all the other ingredients went soggy cos of this) and still too hard. Ruined the meal, what a waste. Show details

Rock noodles – They don't cook through despite cooking them for 20mins (packets days 8mins) . Will never buy again. They a rock hard in the middle. Show details

Just awful. Waste of money – I bought a ready made meal “Pad Thai with prawns”. 5 of the tiniest prawns I have ever seen. It was gluggy and tasted awful. What a complete waste of money. I won’t bother to buy any more of Mr Chens products. The only place for it was the bin

Chen's noodles don't bother – Just cooked the Mr Chen's pad Thai noodles - to exact instructions. I thought ok says it will soften when following required instructions no such luck, outside of noodle cooked inside rock hard. Very disappointing. Poor item not worth it – Cooked the noodle how the packet said , added noodles to recipe, served only to find the noodles were hard and undercooked . Did everything the packet said to do . Little to no taste kids couldn’t eat it . Show details

Awful – Absolutely awful. Bought while on special as a quick meal option. Flavourless, soggy noodles with no texture and had to add so much to make it edible. Don't waste your time or money. Show details

Worst Rice noodles ever – I purchased the pad Thai rice noodle and cooked it to the instructions on the back, and the noodles I’m were still raw, I didn’t realise until I added it to my pad Thai! The whole dinner was ruined, waste of time and money! Will never purchase this product again

Nice flavour, bit pricey though – Have bought Mr Chen's Pad Thai kit several times. My family loves the flavour. I think the negative reviews are a bit harsh, however I agree the noodles are tricky to separate in boiling water, also they are a bit too expensive. Show details

Mr Chen's Noodles – Absolute time waster, these noodles are terrible!! I followed the cooking instructions but the noodles stayed hard!!!

Not happy – Bought this product knowing I wld have to add other Ingredients so I read in store what I wld need to add. Thinking I had all ingredients to make started to prepare kit i noticed the recipe stated i also needed bean shoots & chives which I didn't have either, along with when preparing the actual meal it stated 2 eggs but in WHAT U WILL NEED stated 1 egg. Very disappointed

Is it a meal kit or half a meal kit? – Don't sell meal kits and then happen to mention, in tiny writing on the back somewhere, what else you need to make it. Mr Chen's meal kits without basic ingredients is the equivalent to the Glasgow Willy Wonky experience which had no chocolate.
