I steamed these as directed and they turned in to a gelatinous pile of goop. So disgusting Show details
Where are the prawns??? – Prepared the pack of 20 Prawn Gyozas but there were NO prawns. I would have given them 3 if I found one prawn. They're are large prawns all over the packaging but none inside the food. It's like eating cardboard. Show details

Unexpectly chewy rice rolls – I used to enjoy eating Mr Chen's rice rolls for it's soft texture and the sauce that came with it. Although the prawns sometimes taste like cardboard, I could still bear with it. However, the recent batch I bought was totally different. It was chewy. Felt like I was eating some chewy gummies. Then I noticed the ingredients contain wheat and… Read more
tapioca starch. It's no longer rice rolls! Please revert to your original recipe. They are more authentic. And bring back the old sauce. The new sauce tastes like some cheap dark soya sauce.

Since they change the sauce I don't buy these anymore – I found dumplings taste inconsistent with every batch but still ok. The reason we were buying these was amazing sauce that all our family loved. However sauce has changed, been watered down and it tastes different as well. A big let down. Looking for a new product with a good sauce or to learn to make my own. Show details

Just like going out to Yum Cha – I've been eating dumplings for decades, and being of Asian descent, I love going Yum Cha. Australia is one of the best places on Earth for quality dumplings, with an abundance of quality restaurants in every capitol city...but, what happens in "Lockdown"? Mr Chen's to the rescue! My favourites are the 12 pack of Prawn Hargow, and their 5 pack of… Read more
Prawn Roll. Both come frozen in handy 300g packs, perfect for that snack. The prawns are firm and have that certain fresh prawn "crunch" when you bite into them, and has that unique Asian king prawn flavour.....sesame oil and white pepper under tones.....Super simple to heat up.....just steam them in a double boiler / veggie steamer. Serve with the included light sweet soy, or add your favourite chilli sauce. Have a home Yum Cha and buy several types of dumplings, but you must include Mr Chen's Prawn Hargow and Rolls. About $7.50 a pkt available at all major groceries stores.
Dreadful !! – I purchased Mr Chens Steamed Prawn Rolls. Described as "plump whole prawns light soy dressing irresistible Rice pastry rolls. Followed cooking directions. Prawns were "real seafood", as described, but nothing more than a few tiny "shrimps" per roll. Not pleasant at all. The advertising for this product was clever... "Individually Handmade" No more Mr Chen's stuff for me. John
