I’m sharing my personal experience in case it helps others. After eating a frozen Miss Mac’s beef pie, I developed a widespread itchy rash later the same day and ended up needing medical treatment. I’ve since been advised to follow up with allergy testing. Taste and texture were fine, and I’m not suggesting this would happen to everyone.… Read more

Unfortunately, due to my reaction, I won’t be able to eat this product again
Packaging is deceiving – Loaded potato pie: Is nothing like what it is depicted to be on the packaging. 3% pease, 10% meat product the rest is manufactured mashed potato. This was a hard one to get down. Show details
The texture is just right – Love how the pies baked and the taste are truly delicious! Show details
Chunky Pies – The pies are so good! It's not like any other pie. it's flavourful and the pie are so chunky. Love it the first time we taste's it. Show details
Mrs Macs Roast of the Day pie – Mrs Macs Roast of the day pie is not my favourite at all. I like her plain pies but this one is too peppery and salty had a couple mashed peas on one side and not much meat and what was there was grisly, sorry but no.. not my style pie at all. Show details
Nice pie! – At first I was a little worried about trying this pie. At first it smelled different to other pies I have had before. but when I tucked into it, it was really nice. This pie is not for everyone tho. You need to have acquired taste for you to enjoy it. I will definitely have this again!
Loaded roast of the day pies – Beef and mushy peas with potato topping. Was disgusting. Meat was basically gristle. No peas, just some green liquid. Potato, if you could call it that, was grey. Not creamy fluffy mash, as the picture portrayed. Went into the oven grey, came out of the oven grey. The second pie in the pack is going straight into the bin. Show details
Roast of the day pie – Roast of the day pie is a delicious pie but that spew tasting crap that is on top of the mash Potatoe is absolutely disgusting and needs to be removed a.s.a.p Show details
Needs to be enhanced – Tasted one and thought pretty ordinary...but had potential..The next time I baked it..35mins..took it out cut around the rim and added onion powder, black pepper and vegeta stock...put the top back on..in again for 10 minutes.. A Dam good pie!! The meat they use is good quality... It was the " Pepper steak Pie" I had.... The Pastry could be flakier... After my additions I enjoyed it second time around.. Show details
not something I would buy again – Ok pie.........not many chunks though !!! Cooked in the oven and the filling fell out of one pie. Cooked it at the temp the packet the instructions said. No would not recommend. Show details
Best heat-up pie in years – Didn't have the chunky steak pie but the steak, cheese and bacon I had was fantastic. Brushing it with egg makes the crust crispy and delicious. Because the pie is not cooked beforehand, the filling is juicy and full of flavour. Keep them coming, Mrs Macs Show details
Mrs Macs pies - don't even bother – Saw these in a 2 pack classy looking at box Coles on half price special (normally $10) so was interested to see how they would compare with the more expensive Simon Logues and tasmanian pies that Woolworths stock (not frozen). They are described as "Chunky steak" and the consistency is nothing like the packet illustration.. Very average and below… Read more
Herbert Adams so why would Mrs Macs think that they warranted a $10 price tag. Ripoff. You even have to cook them so that's a hassle. The ones Woolworths stock in the deli area are Bootiful and often marked down a bit. Next down on the scale are Wardell pies, made in a little town on the far North NSW coast. Very good and the piecart in Lismore sells squillions of them. Would get about a nine on the yuminess scale.
