Peggs Handy Line

Buyer beware. Single lady in trouble. Recently bought my third Mrs Peggs never again. Leg bolts too short, nuts fell off, leg collapsed. What a mess. Do not recommend.

Fabulous concept! – I have been using Mrs Peggs deluxe since downsizing to an apartment 3 years ago. I purchased this second Mrs Peggs as a gift for my daughter who also resides in an apartment. It holds up to 2 loads of washing and hangs behind the door when not in use. Show reply

Great service, great product – I bought another portable clothesline from, a very well known clothesline company but it was heavy and awkward. It was not useful at all. It's a game changer, much lighter than the original I had before that, it comes fully assembled and I am delighted with the amount of laundry I can put on it for air drying. I can fit a QS linen set plus towels and a normal load. A friend had one and it lasted her for years. The staff were helpful and friendly and you can actually call them, unlike some companies where it's pretty much impossible to speak to a real human. Has withstood the test of time really well – I bought mine about 11 years ago and they are still as good as the day I bought them. I have a large one for under the back verandah and a small that I use inside. I spent years struggling with clothes horses indoors and towels and sheets were a pain. very easy to move around. I hang them behind the door in the laundry when not in use. Every now and again I tighten the nuts and I've replaced the stoppers on the legs with rubber ones.

All in all these are highly recommended. It may seem expensive but considering that I rarely use the clothes dryer they've paid for themselves a few times over by now.

Peggs for a full load of washing. Its light to carry around, & a good height, too. I have it outside, anchored to a lattice panel with 2 zippy ties. I bought a Mrs Peggs because after 17 yrs in my home, I was sick & tired of having to walk round to the other side of the house to hang up my washing. Am very happy with this clothesline. I highly recommend it to others. It comes fully assembled. Open the box, slip the plastic bag off, unfold the legs, & your in business. A quality product. Well worth the money.

A delightful product – I agree with the other posters; this is a perfectly designed and functional product. Very easy to operate, light as a feather and aesthetically attractive. With just a little organisation, most of us could easily do without an electric clothes drier. Show reply

Better Than a Fixed Clothes Line – When we moved into an apartment 10 years ago we didn't have a clothes line, I knew someone would have addressed this problem. advantages are : you can move them around wherever you need to dry clothes under cover in the house in the sun whatever, there are no installation costs or fixtures to take up valuable space. If your a crazy washer person and have mountains of clothes you may want to combine it with a smaller freestanding one as we do for small bits and pieces. Its fine for Queen Size bed linen its incredibly stable and light in weight. After 10 years our 1 in Melbourne works just as well in that the folding mechanisms operate perfectly not one wire has stretched or come undone.It may seems expensive but not if you include its flexibility and lack of installation it can only be bought on line makes the car parking easy :) its a winner
