Multinet Gas

I had a gas meter replace less than 6 month ago and now leaking. I had to beg them twice to fix a leak due to their mistake! They still try to blame others . Please someone should organise class action ! This sort customer service or lack of should not be allowed ! Victoria consumers protection agencies should do their job!
Want to harvest personal data to simply record a complaint about their processes and/or contractors. They say to reference their website for details, but those details haven't been updated in almost 6 months!! Don't care about how they affect the community, but what do you expect from a monopoly?
These people are worse than useless. Cannot remember how many times they slip a card either saying that my meter cannot be read due to locked doors or dog in premises (I own no dogs) even though I had the gate left open during the whole day for two days prior to the scheduled day of reading, including the scheduled day itself. There were also… Read more
countless times when they came 6 - 7 days before the scheduled day of reading. They can't be serious blaming me for keeping the gate locked when they weren't even supposed to come? Can someone rough them up a little cause I do not foresee them pulling up their socks anytime soon?
Dodgy job . No standard installation. Asking more pay when we ask them to fix and install the gas metre properly. refuse to talk and to many drama . The gas metre will damage because rain water
Follow-up · Dodgy job. Multi net not accept complaints. They won't fix it unless you pay more. Even q quite to fix it have to pay
I mean the level of incompetency in one organisation is just beyond comprehension. An hour on the phone to three departments explaining that i physically have two meters installed. They are ongoingly telling me that it can't be correct as there system says only one is. They ask for meter ID numbers which i give them and they tell me that they cant… Read more
help me as i'm not the account holder..... But wait, after i request to speak to a manger (on hold for another 10min) they can now FIND the address. I ask to speak to a manger who then tells me as a once off they WILL accept me giving them the meter ID number and assist. I will saying one thing - the people were actually lovely but the processes and management within the company are a basket case.
If I could change the gas provider company, I would – It's been almost a year since a request to resolve a limited gas supply was raised. 5 visits from the servicemen who push the job from one to another. They expect people to stop working and wait for the serviceman all day, no timeframes are given for their attendance. But this would no be an issue, if they could actually do what they are paid for… Read more
and this would be to fix issues with gas supply. Not sure why the service charge is there on the bill, because there is no service. We have a small baby in the house. No hot water. Still waiting for someone to take on responsibility and fix the gas supply to the property. It appears that just do not wish to spend money to repair what is not a homeowners responsibility. Multinet is the worst company I have dealt with so far.
Shocking Incompetence – Need to get gas meters installed but site was locked. Told them the door code + any issues, contact me and i can be there in 5 mins. Installers just went to site, saw the lock and went home. Now i have to wait another for them to come out. The incompetence is just shocking.
No gas for 5 days! – Don't work weekends, ignored supplier request for connection. In isolation with two children with Covid, I'm disabled, not allowed to leave the house, no way to cook food or any hot water available. Did they care, of course not!
Did not repair path – 4 months after digging up entrance pathway i had to call them 5 times to repair path, finally sent some tradesman out who told me it would be fixed within a fortnight but thats been more than 3 weeks ago. So now almost 5 months and not repaired I don't know what to do and we have90 y old living here who has to walk over broken pathway. Multinet are a company who lie constantly. I'd like to break the CEO's pathway.
Terrible company – During a recent gas upgrade paving was removed and I was told they would return in the next few months to repair it , they had already back filled the area with gravel .After speaking with one of the workers I mentioned I was not wanting to wait 2 months and I would repair the paving myself ,so could I put the gravel on the nature strip for them… Read more
to collect .Well long story short after a few weeks I approached them about removing the gravel from the nature strip and was told that it was my rubbish that I had dumped and not they're gravel ,I was dumb founded .They killed off neighbours plants ,damaged water pipe that later burst .At the end of the days work , plastic barrier tape was rolled up and discarded on the footpath .Footpaths and gutters were left with mud and gravel every where no attempt to clean up their mess which then got washed down into the storm water after the next rain .I don't think I have ever seen such poor work methods .On contacting Multinet to lodge a complaint the response I got from their public relations department was pathetic .
Still only One Star – No respect, no consideration for their customers and no interest to resolve issues and problems they cause during their so called "upgrade works" to gas pipes and meters. Only interested in maximizing their own profits, too bad for you if they damage your property.
NOT HELPFUL AT ALL – I had to call their customer service people today. Trying to explain the situation to someone with poor English was difficult. She was not helpful, not understanding and basically told me it wasn't their problem. Very, very poor customer service.
