Can anyone tell me if Crime Check Australia is a LEGITIMATE Business? There are some bad Reviews out. I received this email today June 24 2021 stating "Your police check has been flagged for a manual review by the National Police Checking Service. This does not necessarily indicate negative findings, and is a standard procedure. Police checks are flagged for manual review for many reasons, the most common one being your personal details partially or fully matching those of other people in the National Police Checking Database. The review process can take anywhere between 3-12 business days. This delay is beyond our control as it is dependent on the relevant Police Departments and Checking Agencies. We understand this might be frustrating, but it is a necessary and important step to ensure the safety of the community and accuracy of your police check results. We appreciate your ongoing patience on this matter. We are monitoring your file closely and will send your police check certificate as soon as it becomes available. What is the benifit to using this service over using the direct application link on the AFP website? Thats cheaper and gives you an actual physical copy? Is it just people dont realise its cheaper to use the Australian federal police direct link? $42?

What's your opinion on your Police record,how come Charges from 30 years plus are still popping there Ugly heads and why aren't my Convictions from so long ago Spent??. People I know,who have applied for Police check later,have had a Clean Slate,I've never been to Jail and my fines were Minimal.

When you Apply for National Police Check with W.A. Police,you have access to a Spent Convictions Form,which Automatically accompanies your Police Check.Otherwise you have to apply Separately to have Convictions Spent.

Yes,I have finally Aquired a Clean Police Clearance, Through the W.A. Police,rather than cheap $49 Clearences.Which don't include wipeing old Convictions.

You can only contact them by email. I waited 31/2 weeks before I got my online police check. It is now nearly 5 weeks and I’m still waiting for my paper based clearance to arrive. Nothing happens quickly with this service even though they claim that 70% of checks will be done in 1 hour and the remaining 30% will be done within 10 days. Extremely poor service especially when your career depends on this service

I personally have to get a police check to work for a company that counts votes and it's not the employer who pays.
What is the cheapest place (but secure) place to get it? All prices below include GST.
My employment agency referred me to * CV Check for $49.90
However I googled(google.com) and found some others: * Clear to Work(check.cleartowork.com.au) - $41.50 * Certsy(certsy.com) - $49.50
There's also a whole list(acic.gov.au) of different companies on the government website.
Any advice or vote for the one I should use below?

Yes sue, police checks are valid for working with the children the elderly and vulnerable people. If you are a student or volunteer you will also get a discount. Hope that helps.

On some occasions the results end up in the 'Spam' inbox of your Gmail.
