I came across this website on Google and signed up to help raise fees for my sister. In a few days, I clicked the link and it was missing. The account went 'disappeared' without my knowledge. I emailed my cause for a response and they never responded. I'm concerned about this website. I regret using it. I would have used Go Fund me which is legit!.

3 fraudulent transactions were made against my ANZ credit card on 4 Sept 2025. at your organisation did these three transactions and then reversed them. If I do not get a response I will be reporting this to the NSW Police."

Their response:

"From the information you have provided it appears that your credit card was stolen and then used on mycause.com.au The fraudulent transactions were picked up by our team and reversed back to your card. Happy to help despite your aggressive and confrontational tone thanks Tania mycause admin

Additional information has been requested and complaint has been lodged with mycause to give Tania some customer service training as she has no empathy towards victims of crime.

I would NEVER make a donation via this company - or use their services.

Not allowing fundraisers and removing fundraisers for trans related surgeries is, objectively, transphobia. They are not "cosmetic", they're lifesaving.

Incredibly bad customer service from this platform. I raised $3000 for a charity and with their (very hard to find) platform fees, bank fees and credit card transaction fees lost almost $400 of donations which is Incredibly high. I was given one sentence emails from customer service. I called the 1300 number and the very rude girl on the phone said "didn't one of my colleagues email you? The charity need to log in and run a report to see what the fees are" if I set up the account I should not only be able to see donations but also the fees associated with those transactions. I raise a lot of money for a lot of causes and will never use these guys again and will not recommend them to anyone either.

end of the campaign, after waiting for many days with no funds forthcoming, I tried to contact them to find out where the funds were. There is no phone number anywhere to contact them, only an online query form. I received a one sentence reinsert to say they had paid the $ direct. They also advertise that they have no fees and I have just found that they have taken a substantial amount of $$ from the donations. So dodgy. No customer service, lies and money gathering.

they advised me to raise a ticket. After a day, I received an email stating that I could no longer use the platform and that all donations would be refunded. No explanation was provided, and my follow-up email asking for clarification has gone unanswered. This platform failed me during an urgent and emotional situation. Their lack of transparency, technical reliability, and customer support is deeply disappointing. I trusted them to help support my friend’s fight for life, and they let me down. I do not recommend this platform to anyone.

Worst fundraising platform – I know someone who created a fundraising for medication. It was supposed to be paid on the 1st June and now they have refunded the money raised to the people who donated and said that the page didn't pass their verifications!!!

Rude people do not use – I pointed out that their system was not working correctly and they just said, you are wrong, it's working find. What horrible people. Remember the people profiting from charity are not a charity.

High fees - lack of disclosure, go elsewhere if you can – Didn't choose to use them - a kind donor setup a fundraiser using them. Almost impossible to find out what their fees are - emails unanswered and still can't find the information on their website. 10% 'commission' and 'bank fees' and GST deducted meant an effective fee rate of nearly 13% for us - multiples of what other platforms (e.g. Facebook Giving Fund/Trybooking etc) charge.
