Narva Platinum Plus 130

Buyer Beware – As a planned maintenance minded Engineering type, I've always ensured the correct change out of globes before they blow, unfortunately for me, these globes only lasted 3 months. Despite being thoroughly impressed by their ability to improve driving vision, I'm reminded that the only real 'ability', is availability! Needless to say, the Narva's didn't offer that for me.

I would suggest that prospective buyers do their due diligence before fitting these globes. I experienced losing a headlight whilst driving through inclement weather at night time, impairing my visibility.

Despite my experience with the 130s, I won't be dissuaded using Narva products going forward, just not this one.

pathetic – at $100 for a set of H7 low beams and matching parkers all 4 globes blown within 12 months, don't waste your money the light difference is negligible. I'm an auto electrician so I am well aware you cant touch the glass of the globe, I have fitted 100s of these style globes and these have been the worst performing yet.

Short life – Purchased 2 pair of these gloves to fit to a ML320 and a FG XR6. Fitted them carefully didn't touch the glass - as a mechanic I am aware of oil on the skin creating hot spots on the glass - within 6 months of normal suburban use 3 of the 4 globes failed. At aprox $74 rrp they are definitely not worth the money.

Cash Burner – Put a pair of these H4 Platinum Plus 130's into my VT BERLINA. Yes they do deliver brighter whiter light but I am hugely disappointed that both have blown on low beam, one lasted around six months and the other just quit a few months later. Not good enough seeing they retail over $100 a pair. Normal globes seem to last year's and years, sadly this has been an expensive way to discover their lack of durability.

By the way I am a trained technician, they were installed without being contaminated into good condition headlamps with properly sealed globe covers. Very disappointed with their lack of longevity given that they are a premium priced product.

Light my way – After trying numerous brand halogen headlight bulbs with promises of dazzling light to great colour they are all a big fail untill i purchased narva platinum plus 130 h4 headlight bulbs WOW ! All of a sudden i could see the road in front of me again from distance to colour and from side to side plus being able to see road sighns clearly definitely worth every dollar so if you are after a great product narva has you covered for all your car lighting needs
