And in the end, the motor repair of my Volvo was fixed, fully covered by insurance and I can breathe, knowing I am ok, knowing that policies are written to protect everyone from fraudulent claims. I had 3 claims after paying top dollar for car warranty. They denied all of them, from a leaking coolant, to a blown coiler. Denied all of them. Do not buy warranty with this company they will deny anything you claim.

however, the replacement was well below their amount. Within ad day of submitting my claim it was accepted and I was authorised to go ahead with the replacement. Within a few days my antenna was replaced and the claim settled by NWC with my repair tech. This is the second claim I have had with NWC and I cannot fault them in any way. They have been excellent in all facets of my claims thus far. So many, many thanks to NWC.

Follow-up · We claimed the water pump. Took less than a week from quote to approved. We then booked it in with the mechanic (Volkswagen) and the company paid them directly. There was a small copayment required for consumables - radiator fluid - $60, but parts & labour was covered ($1000).

We have an extended warranty on our caravan and the hot water system failed while travelling. I called to advise and was given approval to repair and submit a claim. Clear guidance was provided on the required documentation and their response was prompt. Documentation of annual services was sent and the claim was quickly approved minus the consumables on the invoice. Very happy with the results. Show reply

It does not pay out for "Wear and Tear" and classic breaks like leaks. Although it looks great on paper the warranty itself is terrible. The process is long, drawn out and could leave you without a car for nearly a month if the mechanic, them or you are slow at processing the information.
Save the money for a major service and just keeping ontop of the car like you would any vehicle.

what a scam this "warranty" is, exclusions include gaskets, hoses and seals. What sort of warranty doesnt cover a leak? If that leak takes out your engine it is not covered. Dont waste your money of these guys, you wont end up with the result you want.

I was pleasantly surprised how good the service was. I was expecting the company to give me 50 reasons why they shouldn't help me out, but experienced the direct opposite.
