Not sure why my experience is so different from the other reviews here but SD card was purchased from them and arrived a week later. I did email them and they did get back to me with order confirmation. Installed card into 2014 Ranger XLT and it automatically updated the whole system and fixed my issue of no navigation maps. Not as Scam, just a bit sloppy on customer support. Phone numbers given didn’t work though but the email seems to.

Lousy support – I purchased TomTom map for my Mazda 6 that did not work in Dec 2022. After a year of fruitless emails, I contacted Ajust.com.au who took up my case. I managed to return the faulty map in a TomTom return package. Now awaiting my refund. I can highly recommend Ajust if you have similar issues with Navshop. Colin

It’s a Scam – Ordered an update SD for my BT 50. Received a card which my car cannot read. Unable to contact Navshop at all. Emails to them are unanswered. No phone number or address is given. This is a scam run by thieves.

Unacceptable – I spent $300 for an upgrade for my Subaru Outback 2010. I was sent a 2018 disc. It's 2023 now! Please don't part with your money to these scammers.

Unusable product, zero service – My experience is the same as others. I was sent an update that didn't work. 2 months later, still no response from Navshop.com.au. I am now disputing the transaction with my bank as I can't think of any other way to get my money back.

Beware Avoid FAKE – For an international company TomTom / Navshop are an absolute disgrace ! I ordered an upgrade for my 2013 Landrover in March 21 and received a 2015 version that could not be installed because it is no longer supported and does not have an installation code. Weeks of email, Twitter and Facebook contact has produced nothing other that a lame email… Read more

from ANZ customer support team reflecting the above. What a joke, $125 later, zero. The 1300 number is disconnected, pathetic FAKE service model @TomTom @NavShop @vehiclenavigation

Consumer Beware of Getting Ripped Off – The Navshop, Subiaco, WA that is owned by TomTom has a customer service model that is atrocious. The 1300 number goes to an automated message that advises to use the support email link then hangs up. TomTom Sales Australia has the same 1300 number as the only option. There are no listed business numbers for either. TomTom Sales Australia is… Read more

located at North Ryde, Sydney so at least I have an address, but their onsite mailbox states “Mailbox not monitored”. So, no contact person, no business phone and no mailbox for either. I ordered a DVD Map update from Navshop and followed its status up via the tracking option after two weeks only to receive an automated email message a few hours later advising that the order has been cancelled. No reason why the order was cancelled and it advised only the cost of the DVD was refunded, the cost for the GST and freight was not included in the refund. So, I am paying GST and freight for an item that was never delivered that was cancelled! I sent an email via the Navshop link of complaint and it has been ignored, I am now taking this to the next two steps, 1) Department of Fair Trading and 2) I am writing to TomTom HQ in Amsterdam advising them to sack this manager in Navshop, Australia and to review their customer service model.

No customer support by phone. Disc arrived and functions – A poor first impression. The web site is plausible and order processing appears to go smoothly. Then, for a week, absolutely nothing. The phone number published on the site leads to a recorded message and an automated hangup. Why publish such a number at all? The placement of the order was confirmed by email, but there was no confirmation of… Read more

posting or shipping out, so I had no way to know if the order had shipped until I wrote an email more than a week later asking for this information. Postage from Melb to Syd took 6 calendar days after shipping, a remarkable achievement even allowing for Covid19.

Avoid~ – I ordered and paid $303.50 for an update to my Subaru Forester 2010 map. Navshop sent me the old (Australia 16, from 2008) disk in a 'Australia 25' labelled case. For one week I have tried by numerous phone calls and emails to to get them to send me the correct disk without any success. I have now lodged a complaint to Fair Trade to see if I can get at least my money back.
