Came with the motor home tried it once for 2 minuets then again 1 1/2 years later & it wouldnt turn on either with the remote or the switch on the tv. So all up its been on for 2 minuets & now its dead & out of warranty & they refuse to replace it. Rubbish dont touch them. Show details
Worst T.V yet. Keeps turning off, freezes, came with our new Essential Caravan 2025. I think Essential Caravans need to do better with there TV'S, Washing Machines as NCE are useless!! Show details
Not even 4 years old and considered obsolete – Came with our brand new caravan, only just nearing 4 years old and now told it is not being updated anymore. All apps are ceasing to work. As of today, SBS OnDemand is the only app still working, Netflix and all other streaming apps dead in the water. As an experiment, tried Stan and Paramount and neither will work. Such a disappointment. Awaiting to see if I hear back from NCE. Show details
New Blinds – They were very quick sending out our new replacement blinds. We had one problem with a blind & they replaced & sent it out straight away.
An unsupported TV when we got it – If I could less than 1 star I would. 12 months old and apps are no longer supported. They do not have upgrades for them and so a $650 TV, which did not support 7+ when we purchased it, run around for 12 months and NOW told not supported and in the bin!!!!!! Don't touch them they are rubbish
NCE No backup support – This player is in our 5 1/2 yr old Majestic caravan. It has had very little use because of Covid and other personal reasons for not using the van much over this time. Recently whenever we try to play a DVD it plays perfectly for some time but then the player turns itself off. Contacted NCE but despite their web page advertising was told there was no backup support or service agents for this player. Will definitely not be replacing it with an NCE.
Worst TV EVER!! – A 12volt NCE TV came with our new Mountain Trail caravan. Without doubt this TV is the worst TV ever built. Picture quality is awful and the so-called smart features don’t work. Rubbish. Steer clear of NCE Smart TV – Nothing but trouble, frustration and inability to have TV on the road in our caravan with this terrible TV. extremenly difficult to use. Not intuitive in its operation. Recommend users stay away form this product. PS - we're having simiular experiences with the NCE radio as well.

Nce TVs are so bad – NCE TV are just rubbish. There customer service is even worse. Brand new Tv and No apps function properly. I contacted NCE and they said buy a crome cast. What's the point of buying a smart TV when u have to buy something to make it smart. Biggest waste of money. I will make sure to let as many people know I that there tvs are so bad. Don’t waste your time or money on this TV – We had the NCE 28” TV as an option when we bought our new caravan. We wish we had saved our money and bought a decent TV ourselves. The TV is very temperamental about when it works and not. times it simply freezes and requires a hard reboot by unplugging from the wall for a few minutes before it will work again. It is slow to connect to wifi - go and make yourself a cup of tea while you wait.
Netflix app only works if you use the mouse feature - something I only learnt after months of owning it and thinking Netflix didn’t work at all.
The free to air channels constantly need reprogramming and as for a DVD player I think that is just wasted technology- who has DVDs these days? And the cabling is very messy and unnecessary- these days a simple HDMI and aerial cable should suffice.
On the plus side, it’s lightweight and fits underneath our cabinetry.
Netflix, YouTube Don't Work, NCE Software Site links all broken – Received a new NCE TV with the new caravan in June 2023, none of the apps function correctly. NetFlix loads to the home screen then freezes and you have to restart the TV. NCEs site for software downloads to update these problems gets a $)$ error - file not found/link broken. Very disappointed that this TV is included with a premium caravan and simply does not work. Customer support is appalling too.
A complete waste of money.
Absolute garbage, steer clear – The software on here is a customised chinese android version, its extremely difficult to get any app (Netflix, Google, Disney, Prime, YouTube) to work on it. There is zero support from NCE australia and very difficult to get anyone to even respond. You're better off throwing your money in the bin. Show details

Not smart – Can not use any smart features, apps don't work. The hardest tv to work out how to use , paid over $600. Doesn't suit Australian format I think.

currently in Mornington Victoria. Even when the Winegard antenna is correctly aligned with signal booster turned on and the TV is tuned, we get perfect picture for a while, then it steadily deteriorated until it is unwatchable. NCE say it’s poor reception. I would never recommend this TV to any one. We're purchasing a New Englaon 32” smart TV this week. Less power, less weight good reviews. Fingers crossed.
Waste of money – Smart TV not smart. Plain TV itself is OK. But Bluetooth sound cuts out & often freezes everything. Smart TV {which one pays extra for!} is pretty useless. So many apps are not supported, utube is about the only thing that works. Free to air TV channel apps don't work, so we can't watch things after the event VERY DISAPPOINTED .... It's not a $50 item! This tv is hooked up to a Satalite set top box so you need to increase the volume on the tv and lower it with the set top box seems like an issue with the power to the volume control system within the tv but I am making it work.. Next issue is when you turn the tv on the sound won't come on this is an intermittent issue and doesn't happen all the time but your need to turn the tv off and on to get the sound to come on very annoying but only way to get it to work. All in all not what I expected from a so called quality product but end of the day pictures ok and does the job but when time to purchase a new tv will look else where...
Lasted less than 20 hours viewing – TV lasted for less than 20 hours viewing. Bought installed in new van 2020. Screen goes from blue to black in 10 seconds of turning on, with no sound. Tried all usual checks but is TV. Reading all the other complaints, I will just scrap it and buy a better brand. Won’t be recommending any of their crap to anybody. Show details
Aerial plug fell apart – Our van is 2 mths old and the NCE TV that came in it has become useless as the aerial plug has fallen apart. So we get a new one and the same thing happens again? Expensive TV and not that great. Show details
Absolute rubbish. Unsupported Android. Distributors are unhelpful – Android version out of date and out of support. Netflix etc will not work anymore, bluetooth is patchy, WiFi reception is weak. No updates to software. Little to no support. Show details

caravan park with 240 volt power and good Telstra reception for our mobile broadband. We received the replacement tv a few weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. The main problem is the inability to watch more than a minute or so of a program on Netflix before it seizes. Don’t ask about ABC Iview or SBS on Demand! As we discovered once buying the tv, it is not possible to install those apps on this tv. I have now requested a full refund from Home and RV which is the company we purchased it from. Watch this space. After sending the ACCC worded letter to the company we purchased this tv from, we have now received a full refund . Good on Home and RV for doing the right thing.

cheap garbage products – We have a 24 inch NCE smart TV and the 897DVD Stereo. Our van is New - purchased October 2019. In my opinion NCE products are cheap nasty rubbish.
I have asked my Van manufacturer to refund the TV and Stereo price and i will buy some quality known name brands.
Broke down after 6 months use – TV DVD used in caravan but put on bed during travel so always protected. Started to loose picture after 1 hour then refused to turn on. look at it. Said first main board and swapped it out, then said screen faulty. Said would replace for $340 and not charge labour. Very dissappointed as tv only used at most 6 months and out of 12 months warranty by 4months when first rang up. It is supposed to cope with the road. Would not recommend this tv dvd or its suppliers.
Rubbish – Got the 24" smart tv/dvd with a new caravan, 9 months ago. Used 10 times, and the aerial socket has fallen to bits. Rang NCE to be told it isn't NOT covered by Warranty. I'll be sharing this experience on social media. Show details
NCE 28" Smart LED LCD TV/DVD Combo not working after three months – I purchased the NCE 28" Smart LED LCD TV/DVD Combo 12VDC television from Home and RV and after less than three months use I have a $500 television that is not working. It appears to be the power supply connection to the television that is the problem. I've never seen a more fragile power connection on a television like this model tv. I'd strongly advise anyone not to buy one of these tvs. Show details
