I'm sure they earn the same commission for easier applications, so I could understand if they had not been interested. But they never gave up on us, and in my mind that demonstrates real integrity and a rare level of commitment to the customer. After several knock-backs from bigger banks, they secured a loan with MyState. I'm delighted to say that we now own a beautiful property for which we have great dreams and plans, and we are so very grateful.

Painful – I reached out to Korina at Nectar.Not only was it painfully slow to get a response, she arranged a time to speak then didn't even call. Haven't heard anything.Totally unprofessional

I do not trust Nectar – I had surprise fees introduced after I applied for a loan and I was told that my complaint was not "legitimate" in a telephone conversation. I was asked to pre-authorize payment before anything was even done! No thanks. In my experience, brokers will work to find you a loan and get paid by the lender AFTER it is successfully settled but Nectar want payment upfront from the (prospective) lender.

Worst experience with daxa mistry on a home loan – The worst mortgage broker I have come across with atrocious communication and professionalism by daxa mistry. Kept us completely in dark, took all our banking details and provided us false hope, and by the end of 5th week of approval process just said the loan was rejected. Highly Recommended – My first loan was with Ben Eick in 2011, I have continued to use Nectar Home Loans twice thereafter as Ben & his team were efficient and made the process easy & stress free which enabled us to consolidate other debts, have some extra money to renovate our family home and travel around Australia all while having LESS to worry about paying off each week.

Asked for an Offset Account, tricked into getting a Standard account with Redraw – We met with Nectar to get advice on what type of mortgage would work best for us when purchasing our first home. After discussing it with the broker it was agreed that we would get a loan with three offset accounts. broker and asked what had happened and they told us they had changed the form at the bank's request, but that it would all be fine. After the house settled and we were sent our welcome pack from the bank we realised that we didn't have an offset account, just one smart access account with a redraw facility. None of this was ever discussed with us and the bank isn't sure what they are able to fix. We've since lost money as we had put money into what we thought was the offset account to count against our interest rate, and the bank is talking about taking legal action again Nectar on our behalf.

In short, they have no idea or care for what they are doing with your money and should be avoided at all costs.

Nectar mortgage is a rip off – Used the service to secure a personal loan to cover a short fall from selling my vehicle, required only $3000. I went with brokers recommendation of 8000 as I was not sure of the exact amount of the shortfall at the time. Once finalised and the loan approved found out fees to the broker for 2 hours worth of work and a few phone calls was $500! … Read more

It was pathetic that the entire application took 3 days when the vehicle finance took all of a day. I had to make phone calls to follow up on the status of the Loan

The bank actually contacted me with approval before the broker did!

In hind sight I should have applied online myself, would of saved me getting ripped off.

My advice don't use these guys, a reasonable rate should be around a fifth of the price.
