forgot my password, how do I factory reset the tablet?
Hi April, Hopefully you understand how to do this... found on google. This method works for those who applied any type of lock(Pin, Password, Pattern) and then forget their lock. First of all, Power off tablet completely and wait 5 seconds. Press and Hold Volume UP Key and then press the Power Button to turn on the tablet. when you see the logo release power button but keep holding Volume UP key until you see an Android logo. For entering Recovery Mode Press and hold Power Button and Volume UP for 2 seconds. Scroll Down to choose “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” and Yes after that. After formatting Choose “reboot system now” All Done!
Thank you, but I’ve already tried that and every time I attempt to put it in recovery mode the table just shows the neos logo then proceeds to start up as normal
I require the lcd screen replaced as the tablet was dropped and cracked the screen. Where can i get this replaced?
Because it is such an old tablet you may have some issues in finding a replacement screen. Try eBay. Personally I would look at purchasing another tablet instead of replacing the screen as this can be costly. You could also try contacting Pendo as they are the makers of the neos soultouch. Hope that helps.
