don't buy this product its a rubbish product – I bought this Netcomm NP124 Wireless N Extender I connect correctly and it slows the internet download speed down , before it was installed and setup my internet download speed was great but this product is meant to improve the signal of your current wireless network but instead it compromises your internet download speed and have factory rest it… Read more

more than 10 times with right settings. If you want to save yourself a headache stay well away from netcomm they don't know how to make something that actually works and actually improve your current network and plus don't bother with their technical support as they are bloody useless. Go to another brand like tp link their products do a better job and they are more reliable than netcomm

Doesn't work – Doesn't work as a wireless bridge as advertised. Connects to wireless network but doesn't do anything but return the browser to the set up screen, Waste of time and money. Tried on four computers including Mac and doesn't work. Obviously little testing of product done by Netcomm before release.

Excellent product – I am delighted with my purchase of the NetComm Wireless N Extender. Followed the set-up outlined in the leaflet enclosed with the product by connecting the supplied Ethernet cable to my computer and using the Quick Setup option to use as a repeater to an existing WiFi. After initial setup, attached the unit to a power socket in a room with limited… Read more

(two bars) WiFi connection and after establishing a link to the network it now provides a five bar WiFi connection. Tested with a laptop, smart phone and media centre downloading online internet content and they all work flawlessly. Easy setup and does exactly what it claims to do. Nothing

Probobly good if it worked – Have a large floor area to cover, using a Cisco SRP540 wireless router modem but have a few dead spots in the house. Opted for the Netcomm NP124 as the company seem to have a reasonable reputation for budget networking products backed by a 2 year warranty. However in reality the product just does not work, unable to access the web browser for the… Read more

set up, no matter how many combinations attempted. Not going to wait for an exchange, just going to return for a refund, probably back to big $$$"s for Cisco products, but at least for me they work out of the box and have much better configuration options. Compact design Feeels too heavy to be hanging out of a wall socket, just doesnt work

Could not get a working one – I would like to have given this a good review, because I'm sure that when it's working, it does the job admirably. But the first one couldn't be configured via the web browser. The web browser was unresponsive during the configuration process. I returned to unit to the retailer and asked for a replacement. But the replacement had the same fault. … Read more

One hour with Netcomm support failed to get it to work.

I had to return the second unit to the retailer for a refund. I was not prepared to try a third unit.

Could not configure it. Both devices were faulty.

Best all rounder – Tried several brands of wif-fi extenders and the NetComm NP124 is the best of the lot! Easy to set up and covers all my weak spots. Only downside is that the accompanying guide did not show what each of the LEDs on the extender was for although there is an illustration on the box. Very easy to set up. Really extended my wi-fi signal. Guide wasn't clear.
