Absolute Piece of Rat Crap – They could have done it in a better way where you could configure it via a software and USB cable. No matter what computer I connect this to, off-domain/domain-joined or desktop or laptop, this piece of crap wont get configured and after the 3rd step it goes to an error page on my browser with the following message: Hmmm... can't reach this page www.mywifiext.net's server IP address could not be found. Avoid this rubbish.

Router password entry – I bought this unit on the basis it was very simple to set up. I do not use a netgear router but a thomson and therein the problems lay. Firstly the simple wifi to wifi setup was a joke. There was no way they would talk to each other so this left the manual setup. After several hours of frustration in filling in the same info re password for router and the like i realised the dialogue box re password entry and the four key entries are relevant only to the

Password. Therefore when setting up your problematic wi fi adaptor do not push the generate button in the netgear security setup.

Simply copy and paste your password into the first key entry under the password entry box. Push continue and hey presto you're in business. Nowhere in the instructions is this mentioned. Slight oversight i think. Hope this helps you get to a conclusive result in your set up.

The unit itself operates well with good streaming integrity and as i live in a rural area our broadband speeds are not spectacular so if you enjoy higher bitrates even better Opeerates well once set up Instructions limiting
