Unfortunately the zips failed within 3 weeks of use. The arch point near the start of the cap has holes in it after 5 months. They are by far the most light and comfortable work boots I've ever worn though ( I have been using them as lace ups ) , hopefully they sort out their durability issues! Show details
After about a week of wearing the inside part near the heel start to wear out. And now its about 8 months of owning and the whole under rubber part is coming away. Don’t recommend unless they can do a good warranty Show details
Not a good choice – The NB Contours are not a good work boot. They have a high heel which makes you feel like you're standing on a slope. This changes your hip and lower back function resulting in pain. They also contributed towards developing plantar fasciitis. Not comfortable at all. I don't recommend. I had the wide 2E model but I don't believe they are true 2E. I've switched to Wide Loads.
New Balance poor durability for premium price – I have now gone through 2 pairs of New Balance boots in 18 months. Very comfortable and light weight which is why I bought them. First pair broke down after 9 months and I put that down to the rigours of asphalt work in hot bitumen, diesel and emulsion chemicals. The second pair I had were used as a FIFO bus driver only and also broke down in 9 months. They just are not durable and considering their premium price, not worth it. Show details
Fell apart – They were really comfortable but began falling apart within 6months. The whole sole started to detach for the shoe. For and expensive as they are they should be better. Wasn't impressed with durability. I dont go hard on boots either. Show details
Very comfortable – I been using Steel Blue for over 15 yrs now, however last two years I been having issue with Morton Neuroma, it was suggested to change to a wide boot. Hence I bought these from Workwearhub. $209 Au sz8 and 4E. It is lighter than my old boots, however it slightly larger than the previous. Very well constructed mid cut, the side zip is sturdy, best part is it light and wide.
