Nexcare Waterproof

brilliant product – I had a try at cutting my thumb off while pruning.Wrapped a nextcare around my thumb, it took although the skin was wet and still holding after washing the dishes and sundry other jobs, let alone washing my hands. the best I have ever used in 79 yrs. Well worth the money.
Exellent product – I had a bacterial infection on the join of my wrist that kept getting re-infected as I couldn't keep the wound clean and dry. Because of the flexibility needed in the area (to do any basic activity) and the wear and tear on the area (typing, writing), bandages and adhesive bandages would last all of 10 minutes before getting wet, falling off (if they stuck in the first place) or be rubbed off, exposing the area and becoming useless.
I tried every shape and texture of band aid available - FAIL. I then moved onto elastoplast bandages and then their roll tape, which failed the moisture test miserably and irritated the area further (I won't mention the free wrist waxing I received every time I removed it either).
I came across 3M Nexcare waterproof bandages when waiting for yet another steroid cream script to be filled. They were the cheapest there (I have spent a not-so-small fortune on bandages in the last year) and the fact that they were waterproof really got my attention.
THEY REALLY WORK.
I applied two overlapping each other on the wrist joint after applying ointment (your skin needs to be clean and dry where you want the outside plastic bits to stick) and only one week later my wrist is nearly healed. I am beyond thrilled. I thought this was going to be an unhappily-ever-after deal with this unsightly thing (UGLY UGLY UGLY) keeping potential husbands at bay.
I LOVE THEM and I'm confident you will too. Price, effectiveness, ease of application
