Nikon F5

Excellent – If you want a pro film camera then this is the one to get. This camera will go down in Nikon history as being the best 35mm film camera they ever manufactured. Now that digital SLR cameras are prolific, the venerable old F5 is affordable to just about anyone so if you want an excellent film camera then get one of these while you can. Just make sure that you have some quality glass to go with it.

This is the type of camera that will last a lifetime. Pro camera. Built like a tank.

Quick to load and unload film.

Very similar feel and layout to Nikon D2H.

Uses rechargeable NiMH or AA batteries. Power miser. Batteries last a very long time. Very heavy and bulky due to being built like a tank.

There really is nothing wrong or bad about this camera.

Excellent – i have like 7 cameras from film to digital , from nikon to canon (5D, 30D) panasonic fz50, petax mz50, mamiya 1000, nikon f80, nikon D50. and i have to say that since i got my hans on this F5 i went a bought several rolls of film and havent stopt using it, it has everything i need from a camera to use The best body ever made, excellente functions, operating options, awsom image quality, i've test it in extreem hard reading situations. many of you ,as i've read, rate as a cons the weight of this camera, i personaly find the weight a good thing, a great feel and stability.
