Excellent binoculars - Nikon Monarch HG 10x42 – Purchased recently to replace a 30 year old set of binos. We are extremely happy with them, comfortable to hold, light weight and compact enough for travel. Image quality is outstanding, very sharp and bright with great colours. Focus is smooth and quick along with eye cup adjustment.
Extremely happy with these Binos – Nikon Monarch 5 (10x42). I'd never owned a 'good' pair of binos until i purchased these. The catalyst for my purchase was when my hunting friend showed me his Leica binos. As soon as i looked through them i was in shock, i then realised that all the binos i'd ever owned were nothing but toys. Not willing to spend $2000+ on a pair of Leica binos i did some investigating and based on others reviews and the price i bought these. Previous to buying these i bought a pair of Celestron Skymaster 20x80 binos for star gazing and terrestrial viewing, i now understand what others' meant when they stated that 'clarity trumps magnification', i now use my Nikons for star gazing too, no blurring or ghosting.
Good low light binoculars – Good in low light. Easy on the eyes for extended use. Relatively light weight. Used in rain with no issues. I use them with a back strap and material cover pouch Would buy again.
Excellent – I have used these bino's for several years while hunting across the Northern Territory. they are of exceptional quality and offer outstanding performance in the field. they easily endure the knocks, bumps and drops of the typicals days hunt and magnification is outstanding allowing easy pickup of otherwise undetectible animals even in low light conditions! very clear, waterproof, rugged
