considering the amount of money you spend for a new car and try to be loyal and continue your services with them there is no friendly smiles, or pleasantries no would or where you can help yours self to coffees , toilets etc not a place where they are customer friendly!will be going elsewhere for my services!! Buying the car I went back as I couldn’t connect my dash cam I asked a guy and he just said oh you will have to wait for Logan he’s not here yet it only needed a quick easy plug in as my fingers wouldn’t let me do it if they don’t sell you the car they are rude and don’t help you!! Rude!! Disappointed
Follow-up · I don’t know about amenities? The dash cam was unplugged and too close to the roof lining I was unable to plug it in so I asked someone and they said I’ll have to wait for Logan! It was a very easy fix just I was unable to do it. Got done what was required car got serviced
Recently, my wife and I purchased a 2026 Sportage GT-Line from Northside KIA in Brisbane. While the sales staff were very helpful while we were still deciding whether to buy, their attitude changed as soon as we had bought the car. I had to beg them to send me warranty documents. I have questions about various features, but they do not bother to answer. I could not recommend this dealer.
BEWARE : deposits are not refunded for change of mind I was looking for an affordable EV and a friend recommended an MG4. He said that Brisbane MG (part of Norris Motor Group) had a number of new but registered 2025 models that were slightly discounted as dlow km demonstrators. I looked at them on the Brisbane MG website and, after carefully… Read more
reading the Ts&Cs, I paid what was supposed to be a fully refundable reserve deposit to remove one of the demonstrators from sale. The Ts&Cs stated that the car would be taken off the market for 48hrs, during which time I would be contacted by the dealership to arrange a test drive. If the car wasn't suitable, I would be refunded the deposit, no questions asked.
After completing the form and checking my credit card account where the payment was listed as Norris Motor Group) I was surprised to receive nothing from the dealership confirming the payment and thats when I started to get concerned.
After discussing the purchase with my partner we decided that the trip to the dealership was a bit too long to arrange at short notice and we decided to cancel instead.
Unfortunately we had nothing to confirm the details of what the payment was against so I contacted the Brisbane MG online chat and requested a cancellation. I provided my name, email and phone number and was assured that someone would get back to me.
No-one did and no-one attempted to contact me to arrange the test drive.
Two days later I found a message in my spam folder saying that the dealership would be in touch if my payment was successful. It had been successful and was no longer shown as pending, so I forwarded the email back to the dealership asking when my requested cancellation would be processed.
Crickets!
A few days later I received my credit card statement showing the payment as fully processed.
By now it was a week after I placed the original order and I had still not been contacted by the dealership. I called the number listed on their website and was put through to their sales department. The first person I spoke to said I would need to provide proof that I had made a payment. They also asked for my bank account details. He promised to send a 'business card' so that I could send a credit card statement extract and my bsb and account number, presumably for the refund. Thirty minutes later no business card had arrived. I called the number again and got connected to the sales department. Again I was told to send proof of my credit card deposit payment and my bsb and account details. This time I was promised an email that I was to respond to. I was also advised that I had made a commitment to purchase a vehicle and my deposit may not be refundable (contradicting the website Ts&Cs)
A few hours later the email finally arrived and I sent the information requested.
Again Crickets
I've now lodged a complaint with fair trading and I am still waiting for my deposit to be refunded. I have also been advised to dispute the transaction by my credit card company.
Long story short - don't assume that the deposit will be refunded - this dealership isn't interested in customer service or basic communication with potential customers - if you can't go into the dealership, don't be sucked in by their 'reserve this vehicle' promises.

Bad customer service from [Name Removed] – ❌Northside used cars Nundah a subsidiary of Norris Motors. Sales member "[Name Removed]" was very rude and shouldn't be in the business of selling cars with his attitude. Norris Motor Group - Nundah - DODGY & BAD SERVICE – So disappointed in this company. The salesperson I dealt with was [Name Removed]. He was so attentive and nice to us before buying the car. Once we bought the car he would not reply to us. His manager also was not helpful and tried to lie too. the transport company. The transport company had proof it was already damaged. I hate having to give bad reviews but I feel that if I don't others could experience the frustrations like we have. Now we are left to fix our own car we just bought.

informed it is in warranty but the car needs to stay at the dealership for 5 days ( turn around time ). requested a courtesy car since this is not my fault , they had none for a month and asked me to contact VW Australia, WELL... it turns out they didn't have the car in my name , hang up the phone on me twice ??? because I was apparently interrupting them ( yes I was, because they were saying that the VIN number doesn't show my name, HOWEVER, I have paid for the car 4 years ago and I have the contract of sale and registration in my name !!! ).
well, it is still not solved after sending them all the documents , even though the car is in their possession. it is an absurd, disgraceful situation and I'm pursuing legal action. I left the car 4 days ago. I have an injury, am on crutches at the moment, have no car and they are challenging me and asking me to provide all these documents for proof of ownership, after 5 years, the car was bought in Kedron and always serviced there . it is the most insolit, unprofessional situation I have seen,. I will be escalating this to Volkswagen international, for sure! stay away if you can!

Had a great experience buying a second hand Audi. Our salesman Jarred was great to deal with. He couldn’t have been more helpful, answering any questions we had, even contacting Audi direct to get us as more detailed history on the car. Would definitely recommend.
VW golf purchase – Brian Green and his team helped me immensely with the purchase of my used VW golf TDi making the buying process very easy and was smooth sailing from the outset to final completion. I am very happy with my car and would definitely recommend Norris Motor Group to my friends and colleagues should they be looking for a new or used car going forward. Norris Motor Group Northside QLD Kia dealers – I booked in for a car Niro Kia and other Kia test drive online around 2300hrs at night. The following day they called me to set a date for test drive. customer service during my car service there was not terrible. You know first impression is everything when dealing with public. So I drove an hour away for a test drive and it was worth driving. Their service was spectacular, they didn’t judge the book by it’s cover. I do recommended my friends and family without hesitation at all, their in house car loans are efficient as long you have all the required paperwork, then you’re ready to go. They’re not aware that I have done a review on their behalf. Well done to everyone who assisted me at Norris Motor Group Qld Northside of Brisbane, you’re the best.

I purchased a Suzuki Jimny along with an accessory package that included a bull bar, wheels, a lift kit, and a tow bar. I noticed marks on the car's body from an advertising banner. I was assured the car would be detailed before pickup. After several emails regarding the standard wheels, I was initially told I wouldn’t receive them back due to… Read more
being told they were traded and was not entitled to my own wheels back , but after contacting the manager, it was agreed I could have my own wheels since I had paid for them.
Upon picking up the car on a rainy day we got the car home and several days later discovered that the marks from the banner had not been removed. I was then asked to bring the car back for a day for cleaning. Today I got a step ladder out to check the roof and does not look like it had ever been cleaned there had been water and grim pooling on the roof and then baked hard, the salesman needs a new car detailed which should have been done before I picked it up, especially after waiting five weeks for overpriced accessory installations.
In summary, I experienced poor service, and I recommend that anyone buying a new Jimny should consider fitting their own accessories to save money. And when they ask you to make sure you give them a five star rating cause that’s what the boss wants rate them on your experience
Communication at its worst!!!! Car issues since April last year (2024)and I could could the amount of replies on one hand. This is the major reason we did not buy our new car from them. After sales is very poor.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I purchased my very first new car a few weeks ago. in their showroom (Redcliffe branch) with a black cloth over it and a huge red ribbon on it, but my new car was sitting out in the rain. But don't worry, they shammied it off. Now I've been waiting for 10 days for a response to my online booking for the 1,000km service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A DEALERSHIP EVER, EVEN IF THEY WERE THE ONLY DEALERSHIP ON PLANET EARTH.

My MG 3 broke down used their roadside assist. Had to be towed to MG Windsor. After 2 weeks they said the starter motor is working. The wanted to do everything else to car it was only serviced 3 months before . On day latter on side of road the starter motor broken waiting to be towed again . They said roadside assist aren’t Menchnic or are RACQ the service Manager said.
Norris Motor Group are AWFUL! A brand new car that’s been faulty for 18 months and we get ignored! This is by far the worst company to deal with. Be wary as they sell lemons and you won’t get any reply from them when you try and fix or reject the vehicle! They also charge ridiculous dealer fees. Disgraceful!
Dishonest – Kedron.norris Worst customer service. Firstly, the Dealer Mistakenly invoiced me the wrong price, way over the listed price of the car. Secondly, until now, I have been waiting for my refund for the car deposit. Avoid this place is not worth the hustle.
nonprofessional – This has been the worst experience/ years I have had to deal with, 7 years warranty doesn't mean anything when you cannot get a service for months in advance then they charge you for the assessment if you are lucky enough to even get a call back to book it in. I would NOT recommend purchasing from this group.
Unprofessional service – Could not recommend this dealership in anyway at all.I pre ordered a Isuzu mux at a quoted price and all I got was excuses for a handover price.Incompetant staff at Nundah changed the valuation with a difference of $15.000 in a couple of days Then the sales manager said that anybody could put a badge on a car but he failed to look in the log book … Read more

Avoid Purchasing from Northside Kia – **Avoid Purchasing from Northside Kia if You Value Timely Delivery** I strongly advise against buying a car from Northside Kia if timely delivery is important to you. three months have now passed, and the car is still “in production”. It feels like they provided misleading information just to get me to sign the contract.
Now that I’m asking for my deposit back, they’re telling me I’ll need to wait another two months to get a refund if the car still hasn’t been delivered by then. It seems like they’re more interested in boosting their sales figures before year-end and holding onto your deposit for as long as possible instead of delivering the car.
Poor attitude – Just made an enquiry via carsales. A salesman from Norris Group called me and started talking to me (with his mouth full) about the car. Lots of fast talking and swagger. When I told him the kilometerage was too high compared to another car that I'd just been told about he asked me what my budget was. I told him it was as per the amount I was… Read more
enquiring about. He then stated, why bother enquiring if you think the Km's were too high and then hung up on me. The simple answer is, I made an enquiry about another car at the same time however that sales person was able to talk to me (without food in their mouth) and tell me about not only the car I enquired about but another car that had just come in with lower kms in that price range. Perhaps if your sales staff would consider speaking to potential customers with some level of respect and engaging in a conversation rather than talking AT them you might get more sales and a higher overall rating in reviews. We have had a similar thing happen previously with Norris Motors. I fear it is the company culture so this review might not help Norris Motors but may help prospective buyers.
Unprofessional, incompetent & dishonest – On our first inquiry about a new car we spoke to a salesman at Redcliffe Mitsubishi (part of the Norris Motor Group), who showed us the MG and then briefly showed us a Mitsubishi.. We wanted more info on the Mitsubishi and he said he didn’t really deal with Mitsubishi and he would get us another salesman. That was fine but we both watched him… Read more
point us out to the other salesman and he pulled a childish face and rolled his eyes as he did so - more or less to say we were wasting their time. He should check his reflections in the glass before behaving like a child.
As it turned out we bought the new Outlander despite the salesman being totally incompetent. We agreed to wait for it to arrive from Japan. He didn’t keep pre-arranged appointments. He would ask us to come in and then he would completely ignore us for long periods. He was not there on days that he asked us to come in. He put the wrong names and address on the registration form. He made a lot of errors throughout the whole process. He knew nothing about the car (even though he boasted about attending a workshop on the model we wanted). At hand-over he still knew nothing.
When dropping the car off for the initial service, I asked the guy whether the car would be road tested. He said ‘yes.’ When I picked it up, the speedo was on the same reading as when I dropped it off. I asked him if the car had been road tested and he said ‘yes.’ I pointed out to him that the car had not been road tested as I had recorded the mileage. He then changed his prior statement and said there was no need to road-test the car. (The service book clearly states the car will be road tested). The mechanic had damaged the car and a part had to be replaced.
For the 1st service I placed cardboard protection with the words NO STEP over the plates in the door-well so the mechanic wouldn’t step on them again and cause damage. Picked up the car and there was a boot mark on the cardboard on the driver’s side and a small scratch on the chrome. The plate would have been badly damaged again had I not put the cardboard protection on. The service receipt stated the car was road tested. It was not because the speedo (of which I took a photo when I dropped it off) was on the same reading.
The wiper/washer had been tested and it made a mess of the windscreen. No attempt had been made to wash it off. The spare tyre had not been checked. I was also aware of other parts of the service that had not been carried out but I had no proof.
Three days later I had a call from a lady at Redcliffe Mitsubishi asking if I had received an email from Mitsubishi Australia re doing a review and she asked me if I was happy with the service. I told her about the failure to do a road test and the fact that despite me taking precautions to prevent damage to the chrome plates, it still occurred. I told her it was the second time both of these things had happened and asked her how can they road test the car and not use mileage. She was silent on the phone for some time and then she said she would take it up with the service department and get back to me. No one bothered to ring me back.
I then completed the Mitsubishi Motors Australia survey online explaining the issues and I ticked the box requesting Redcliffe Mitsubishi contact me. No one ever did.
On the 24 month service I took photos of different parts of the car and set things specifically so that I would know if they were serviced. Again they were not done and the car was not taken for a road test. I had the service manager come to the car with me and I showed him how I had set up the spare tyre-well to prove that the tyre had not been checked. The mechanic was there as well, and there was look of surprise and guilt on his face. Despite the proof that it had not been done was right before their eyes, the mechanic maintained he had done it and the manager said he believed him. It was astounding they could be so brazen. The child being caught with his hand in the lolly jar has nothing on these people. IT WAS STARING THEM IN THE FACE!
I have to take the car elsewhere now and that means more time and kilometres for me but hopefully I’ll be dealing with honest people.
Poor servicing - add ons you don’t need – Capped servicing includes adding on additional individual services you’re made to believe you need when you don’t! At 20,000km an Mg3 does not need an RV petrol intake service or an Air conditioning purifying service - my mother is 75 and was swindled and her vulnerability preyed upon!. And after $645 the car wasn’t even cleaned but it had grease… Read more
left all over the paint from the mechanic - and the automatic door opener isn’t working - top job :( my advice - take you’re car somewhere else ! Did I mention I she waited 4 hrs ? She arrived at 9.30 and was told to come back at 4pm! Where was she supposed to go? Very busy apparently but not too busy to keep convincing her into adding on services she didn’t need ! Absolute thieves - and clearly understaffed as they’re advertising for mechanics! Disgraceful service would not recommend Norris group at Redcliffe!
Abusive prices!! – Really annoyed with Norris right now. Bought a used Golf last year (not from Norris), and recently got a flat tire and realised I didn't have the adapter to remove the wheel nuts and the previous owner lost it (some VW have one specific and unique nut which wheel for security reasons). So, I hit up Norris. They fixed the tire for $44 bucks and got… Read more
me a kit with new nuts and an adapter for $153 dollars. When the kit arrived, I went back to get the screws changed. And you won't believe this – they charged me $99 dollars just to swap four nuts, a job that took like 5 minutes! Total rip-off, especially since they're the only ones who can change/remove these nuts as without the adaptor. Felt totally taken advantage of. Ended up paying almost $300 dollars in total. Should've checked the reviews on Norris before going. They seriously need to chill with their pricing. Just because they can charge, doesn't mean they should go overboard. Heads up to anyone thinking of going there – check around first.
Wow what a joke, one star is too much – Made an enquiry about a car in the yard at kedron branch.. Then had one guy texting me, and I said I'll leave it.. then another condescending text Then the home phone kept ringing with another one.. wow.. what a hassle.. pressure was enough I spat the dummy and also blocked the mobile texts now What a joke.. and I only made an enquiry
Avoid them – Had a look at a car in Kendron and put deposit in $500. Finance didn’t go through so they said they would reimburse. Asked them for formal reply and they did saying it has been processed, 3 weeks later still haven’t received the deposit back. Always giving out excuses and replying to any emails.
Very happy with the service I received – I purchased a car from Brisbane, had it transferred to Coffs Harbour ( free of charge). I was kept informed every step of the purchase and movement of the vehicle. Very impressed from start to finish.
Dodgy AF – If you scroll you'll notice that the "owner" only replies to positive comments. If you are looking for help because you bought a piece of crap from these dodgy brothers, this is not the forum to do it. Norris Motor Group are liars and cheats STAY AWAY
Dishonest – Noris motor group volkswagon KEDRON Went to test drive a used Amarok this morning that I was told on the phone 3 days earlier (when I spoke to the general manager) had a verbal contract on it but the buyer had not come to collect. starting the vehicle. When I asked the consultant why it was being jump started he said it was because it has been sitting in the front of the yard and not driven for a couple of months.
When the car was bought out the consultant opened the tray which resulted in me seeing that the tub was full of rust (even had holes)… when I said I was no longer interested he said why.. just because of rust in the tub… yes because of that. Mind you this vehicle has a 40,000 price tag.
Terrible experience
Service of out of alignment canopy rear window – 3 year old dmax, asked them to fix out of alignment rear canopy window. Their $100 attempt did not align the window properly. A friend was able to do it in 20 minutes with a shifter scanner, a pair of pliers and a Swiss Army knife screw driver. Closes perfectly now - would never recommend Norris Motors Brendale to anybody. They will never see my vehicle again.
Norris Motor Group Kia Brendale, horrible experience – Do not buy from Norris Motor Group Kia at Brendale! I was desperate to get a car and this was the only dealership to have a brand-new Kia the size I was after, in stock. Everything got sorted out pretty quick which was great, but when I went to pick the car up, I started the car to find out they had only filled up the tank half way, so I went in… Read more
and asked why my petrol tank was not full and Hayden told me that to get a full tank of petrol I will have to leave a 5 star review and bring the car back proving that I had done it and they would then take it and fill my tank up. I was willing to do that and asked 3 times where I need to leave the review (as Brendale is not close to me so didn't want to go all that way and the review was on the wrong website and hold everything up) and each time Hayden said he would let me know and he never did! The other problem I had was after he told me about the petrol, I went back to my car and realised that the floormats I had negotiated into the price were missing, so I went back again and asked where they are and he got the contract and it wasn't written on there, which I should have picked up, but I missed it, as we had a conversation about the floormats and he said that it looks funny without the mats that he would ask his manager for me, so I just assumed when he came back saying we could have everything for the price quoted, we assumed that was floormats and a full tank of petrol, but NO! Also, 1 other small issue, I had asked Hayden if the car had DAB radio and he said it did, but it does not, which isn't a huge problem but just the fact that you expect the people who work there know the products they are selling. If I wasn't so desperate for the car, I would have demanded my bank cheque back and taken my business elsewhere, so instead, I'll leave a bad review. If you can go elsewhere, go, as I will never buy or get a service from them ever, as I just can't trust them unfortunately. The Kia is great though, I would definitely recommend getting a Kia just not from Norris Motor Group Brendale.
Bad Bad Bad -Don’t Buy From Them – Purchased a Car from Norris Motor Group Aspley in November 22 and made a $500 deposit and applied for finance through them that day. drove the car home. After 2 days we noticed that the entertainment system wasn’t working properly and phoned the dealership warranty people they told us that we had to take the car to a Nissan dealership and get an diagnosis on what was wrong with the car. It took a month to get the car in for the diagnosis and $400 later I had the diagnosis and a quote for the repair. I immediately contacted the Norris group to tell them I had the information required but was told that the Nissan dealership had to email it them. I contacted the Nissan dealership straight away and they emailed the information straight through. I rang the Norris dealership back and then was told that it wasn’t covered under warranty which made me very angry as I was assured by the salesman when I purchased the car that it was completely covered under warranty for 3 months. I wrote to the General Manager about the issue and all I got was a copy of the warranty which they never gave us to begin with that was missing 3 pages. And stating that they would cover $200 of the $4500 that it would cost to replace the unit. The was no apologies or willingness to negotiate that they pay for the full cost because the car was faulty. Still haven’t got it fixed.
