Nu-Tank

We organised the only crane in town to lift the tanks into place on the day so it would not sit on the footpath, they changed the delivery route, didn't deliver until the following morning. We had discussed the crane with them. Now 4 months after delivery and the tanks are finally full, water pours out around the overflow flange on both tanks, no rubber seal or silicone. As the water was washing the base away we paid a plumber to come and change the fitting, $128. NuTank tell me they will not cover the cost because I did not contact them first. I explained the urgency and as they are 4 hours away did not think they would sort the problem in time. In hindsight I should have phoned them first but I would expect them to do the right thing, they are meant to be a reputable company. As a side note my work mate bought two tanks from NuTank around the same time, they both have the same problem. If they had done the job properly, or at least had quality control. I would be $128 in the pocket. I hope this is not an indication of the product.
Old fashioned service, not just another number! – I have no experience in buying tanks and have recently moved onto a property with only tank water available. Staff were very patient and took the time to inform me about all things tanks. Very impressed with their service and will recommend them to anybody!
