Unreliable, not worth it – Bouth the Nuttag Focus after misplacing my car keys etc. Cost me $250 for new key. Kept anoying me by the phone and key saying lost if in different rooms. This device and app has so much to offer and I am assuming that their recent changes to the app and their portal has greatly improved the quality of this product. In any major upgrade there is always going to be some teething problems so you want to know that the company is there to help. And then are.

If you are after A GPS tracking device that can do more than Apples Find Friends, then I highly recommend the Nuttag GPS. You can even make a call to that tiny device. Yes there is a speaker inside so you can you try and talk to a loved one in case something has happened or even just listen in to the background noise if you wanted to check up on them ( you can switch that feature off if you were concerned about privacy)

They now have a support line, which they did not before, and they will generally reply within the day if you have problems.

Flaky product and company – I looked at Trackr & Tile & NutTag. Tile seemed like the better product, but the battery was not replaceable. split between very good and very bad, with few in the middle - which should have been a sign. Anyway, they 'd be worth a try as the offered a money-back guarantee, so ordered a 4-pack.

When they came, I just couldn't get them to work with my phone. 2 wouldn't pair at all and 2 kept disconnecting. When I contacted support, they said they'd sent me the old model and I needed the new model for my phone (Android 8). Their web site should have asked what phone I was using them with when I made the purchase, but didn't.

I returned them for replacement (they said they'd pay return shipping) and the first thing I noticed about the next lot they sent was that they were white, when the Pro model is shown as black. Sure enough, when I measured them, I found they were the size of the larger (and cheaper) Find3 model, so actually much bigger than Trackr pixel. When I queried that, NutTag didn't answer the question, and since size was one of the reasons I'd bought NutTag, I wasn't happy.

Since I had them, I tried them anyway and was able to connect these to my phone, but that was about as good as it got. The tags would frequently go off when they were right next to the phone and frequently wouldn't when they were separated. The app is really poor - it's like it's still in beta. The map labels are in an Asian language (Chinese-like characters), the map didn't work properly if you zoom in. The disconnection position shown on the map is not even close to being accurate enough to identify where you lost a tag (i.e often not within a city block) and then address shown is wrong - it doesn't show street name and has local council (e.g. City of Whitehorse) instead of suburb (Box Hill). The app doesn't override the silent setting on your phone like it's supposed to and the online portal they advertise (so you can find your phone if you lose it) doesn't even exist. Finally, the crowd finding feature, which is one of the main benefits of a device like this isn't even in the app.

So, I returned my tags, again with the promise of a return shipping refund. Eventually I got a refund for the tags, but they're now refusing to pay for 2 x return shipping because I didn't purchase using PayPal - something I specifically asked about. Edit: Coincidentally, a few hours after I wrote this review, I was contacted about the return postage refund, which I've since received.

It's become clear that many of the good reviews on this product must be fake. That's the only thing that can account for the way the reviews are distributed. This product has been on the market for some time (they advertise as compatible with Samsung Galaxy S3, which is a 6 year old phone), but the product comes across as still in beta. When it worked, it was good, but there were too many false positives and too many times it should have gone off and didn't. And dodgy things like sending the cheap model to replace the Pro version is not a good sign. If you're in the market for a tag like this, Trackr is smaller than what NutTag is and Tile now has a model with a replaceable battery, so consider those instead.

Works better than other key Tags I've tried – I've used the Nut tags on all my family's keys , work keys and son's wallet (family set of 8 nut tags). Quick to find when lost around the house, and I can tell if I left my keys at work. The "Declared lost" function has found things when I left my keys outside of bluetooth range . Ive had a nylon lanyard broken on a key ring used constantly every day, mildy disappointing but probably fair wear and tear, and Nut replaced them for free, appreciated. Id get the Nut Pro version next time, it has a chain instead of a nylon cord.

This is not a full time GPS tracker, but it is a compact, good looking and durable bluetooth key and wallet finder. I just need a smaller version to stick on my glasses.

Ive used about 4 other branded key finder tags prior to the Nut, this one stands out as reliably doing what I really need it to do. Ive set the app to not use the separation alert, I only use to find things when I need to. The Nut app could be improved to be a it more intuitive, but still better than other key tag apps.

(Other Nut tag reviewers seem to be very intolerant and not willing to use the nut tags and app as they were designed to be used, must be unhappy people.... )

Has great potential – The first watch wouldn't charge. A lovely customer service person helped me manually Reset it. It was very difficult to understand their directions due to language challenges. The positives are that only the numbers you program in can call the watch. The watch doesn't charge or doesn't hold a charge for long. Some days it works. Mostly it doesn't. Like most things from China, just outlasted the warranty – Got this as a birthday present and it lasted 18 months sitting in my wallet, tried 2 new batteries, it's dead. Don't buy it, range is too low, constantly disconnects – Regularly disconnects from your phone if your phone and the nut get too far from each other. This happens inside my own house. This renders the product useless as when you are trying to use either device to locate the other you cannot, unless you constantly reconnect it (before you misplace either thing). Contacted company, they said the product was working as designed and had a range of 10-20m inside a house. Waste of money, buy a tile instead. Show details

Not loud enough – The tracker works and does advise when you are getting close. But The software is not intuitive and the noise it makes is not loud enough for easy quick location. Show details

Flimsy and too quiet – Bought four of these. Two fell apart. There is a metal loop that attaches to a keyring and the loops are not welded and come apart. They are impossible to fix yourself. Units are useless if they are not attached to your keys. Need a better design. Also find the instructions difficult to understand and the lack of customer support is frustrating. The beep is too quiet.

Still so good! – Still so good! Just bought another 4 Nut Tags & my husband has the app too. No more time wasting looking for keys or my wallet or my Mums TV remote!! This is my fourth order now every time they come super quick, without a problem.

Excellent – Thanks Lost my Mercedes car keys. Nuttag found them in a shop approx. 1 km away. What a saving!!! Now easy to find my keys around my home by merely calling the tag on my phone. Ian

it does not work – I bought two and they did not work consistently. when I pressed the nuttag to find my lost phone, the nutty beeped but not the phone. I could not rectify this fault. sometimes it worked and sometimes not. So I gave up and threw them away. Show details

The GPS is a great product and I have other friends who have purchased on my recommendation however – I found the product great for tracking my dogs, However one of my two GPS units failed in 2 weeks of purchase and the Companies after sales service is hopeless they don't return calls and they have had the faulitity unit for 4 weeks and still we haven't been able to get word about warranty or repair costs. Useless, confusing, total waste of money – The instructions are confusing and misleading. I have not been able to bind two of the four nuts to my phone and despite repeated requests for help I am being given the same unhelpful confusing information. Imagine life not spending hours looking for keys – I bought two dual boxes as Christmas presents last year. Then thought I should get one for myself. As an android user, I had issues with the nettag pro (black). Nuttag replaced it with the white version and I haven't looked back since.. I still need to remember I have the facility to look for them with my phone though... And then, in seconds, there are my keys (one time they were in my back pocket doh!).

This is perfect for my father who has Alzheimer's – The Nuttag is the best thing for the elderly I can trace my father who wonders down the shops a lot. I can call him and speak to him if I receive a SOS alert or if his had a fall. Thanks to the support team who are there to assist you if you have any questions.

Does not work – I had to use the tag once and it did not work. The location where I found my keys I passed a dozen times with the app working. Three the tag on the rubbish where it belongs.

nuttag SEEK gps – I have used a Nuttag gps seek. I have written a review on the nuttag gps seek under the correct product. It won’t let me move my review across. I can say the customer service from Nuttag has been excellent.

Love it. Panic no more – As a person who always looses his wallet, this is amazing. As soon as i leave wallet behind, app on phone alerts me. No more worry or looking for it. I have twice lost wallet and cancelled cards only to find it a day or so later, so perfect for me. Highly recommend for wallet or keys or both. Perfect gift as well.

seek nuttag – Just bought my nut tag seek. I was a bit nervous for how to set it up but fortunately the live chat person was super helpful, it was very easy. I am looking forward to track my son, and feel safe.
