Obviously Pouch Boxer Briefs

I ordered five pairs of Obviously EliteMan Boxer Briefs, 9 inch leg, all in size Large. The sizing indicated that Large should fit a 38–40 inch waist. My actual waist is about 36 inches and I am lean, but these still felt tight and restrictive rather than simply supportive.

Customer service responded professionally and explained that the waistband measurement was within their production specifications. I understand that elastic waistbands are measured unstretched, so I am not claiming the items were mismanufactured.

My issue is the real-world fit and the return policy. If a Large listed for 38–40 inches feels tight on someone with a 36-inch waist, the sizing guidance should be clearer. Based on my experience, I would suggest sizing up at least one size, possibly two if you are not lean, carry more size around the waist or hips, or prefer a less restrictive waistband.

The bigger issue is the return policy. They do not allow returns on underwear, including unopened items. I think that is too strict for online apparel, especially when fit is highly personal and the customer cannot know the real fit until trying the product. If a company has a no-return policy that strict, it should be made extremely obvious before checkout.

My honest takeaway: customer service was professional, but the underwear fit much tighter than the size guidance suggested, and the return policy is not customer-friendly enough for an online clothing purchase.

Terrible Underwear - Obviously Underwear – Total waste of money. I bought the all white boxer brief. I wore them once (just one day) to work under my expensive cotton work pants. They pulled severely. This means the fabric in these boxers is rubbish. Had to through them away. When I spend AUD$34 on a pair of boxer I won’t them to last a year at least. Not pill after the first try wearing them. Don’t waste your time buying these guys. Obviously boxers are rubbish.

Firmer fabric is even better – Having just upgraded to the newest obviously range, the fabric appears to be firmer and hold better. The fit took a little getting used to with the pouch maybe sitting slightly higher, which at first i wasn't keen on. A few washes and getting used to "hooking" t pouch under my boys i got used to them. The pouch is a little smaller/ tighter than told version, which is ok for me average and you might be glad of t slight lift if you are looking for a better profile in pants or t locker room! I am fairly large (23 cm) hence the reason i like obviously pouch design, so if any bigger you might find them too tight and probably be better w Andrew Christians Trophy Boy designs.

Love the new elastic waist band too, better elastic and firmer too.

I was large but SF it between l and m now, so opted for t medium. Not sure if going l with give a slightly larger pouch.

Excellent – fantastic product, its well designed, the quality is exceptionally high, right from the materials used to the stitching. they really are the worlds most comfortable underwear wow, these are unlike any other underwear i've worn before. The design takes a minute to get used too, but is so comfortable its incredible, the material is so soft, you forget you're even wearing underwear! only seems to come in 2 styles so far, the boxer briefs and briefs

Bad – I was looking for underwear that would prevent me from re-adjusting all the time due to slippage of genitalia in between legs. I was very excited to find this product that is designed for that. However, once I tried it on, it rode up my crack too much and the legs were too short and also wouldn't stay down. It was too uncomfortable, so I am returning. Anatomical pouch is great feature/idea and was what I was looking for. Gives me wedgie and legs too short. No opening to exit for going to bathroom. Brand name around waist band. Says it requires "gently" wash cycle. Expensive.
