Omega benchtop dishwasher tap connection change – Ten years ago I had benchtop dishwasher and the plumber connected five minute to my tap like snap in and out of the tap. Now they change the hose like washing machine and there is no tap adaptor or anything. Unfortunately I live in government housing and in apartment and they said they will make a hole into kitchen bench I refuse no way. This why… Read more

I bought linarie benchtop dishwasher which I love it I love omega too but it’s useless if you can’t connect it to the tap so I am returning it back I love omega benchtop . I wish they make it two option and make it useable like linarie benchtop dishwasher like people who Has no hose connection they can filled water manually like linarie and Medea benchtop dishwasher where you don’t need tap connections. This why it’s called benchtop. The day they make it two option honestly I will buy it in a heartbeat even if cost me $1000. I am today very sad the Harvey Norman guys going to take away my omega benchtop dishwasher and I am Getting refund. I love it so much because I had this ten years ago. I request omega please make your benchtop dishwasher by have two options one hose which connects to the tap and one of people have problem with water inlet hose connection they should put water manually and they should put little screen with a timer and which shows that if people choose to put water manually at least the dishwasher says it’s full like linarie. I love my linarie dishwasher. I hope omega think about it not everyone owns the house not everyone can find tap connections it’s better one fill the water themself into dishwasher it’s not need hard though. So please dear omega think about what I said if you want people to buy your product. Also if you decide to make it so people put manually please make it like little tray where you pull the tray like linarie benchtop dishwasher and fill the water manually in the bottom not on the top because a lot of people have arthritic . I hope you consider my request as soon you make this change I will get omega benchtop dishwasher .

A good machine but not as good as it was – I had an ODW101W for 9 years and was very happy with it. When it died I replaced it with the same model. Unfortunately the new machine does not have the same benchtop connection as the previous one. The inlet hose split on first use. I went to Bunnings and spent $50 on hardware to make the machine usable. It is still a good machine but it is let down by the lack of the assembly which was included with the original machine. Show details ·  1

Good Dishwasher - cleans nicely :) – I bought this machine due to renting currently so could not install an under-sink model. This one sits at the end of my kitchen bench and takes up around 1mtr with space around it. I did have some difficulty finding a way to connect the inlet pipe to my kitchen tap, but in the end a little research and inguinuity and it's all good. The outlet… Read more ·  1

pipe just hangs into the spare sink and is not a big problem.

It fits most of our dishes (plates/saucers/bowls etc...) but it takes a little manouvering to fit our larger dinner plates. We have just 3 people usually for meals at most.

As for cleaning results, I have found that the quick 1hr setting doesnt clean properly for dinner dishes, but is good for some cups, saucers, bread/butter plates, and loose cuttlery.

For serious cleaning (Dinner plates, small pots, bowls, lots of cuttelry) the middle settings work great :) this takes longer but certainly gives a better result.

Also I found it best to always use the liquid rinse aid, and check the level each wash. And clean the drain filter every couple of washes, and keep the door seal free of debris.

Overall for the price, it's good value and serves us well.

The handy kitchen helper but at a cost – Most people would baulk at paying over $500.00 for a dishwasher that is as big as a large microwave. We bought ours 3.5 years ago and it has not let us down once even though it used every second day.You have the choice of connecting it straight to the cold water tap( a connector is supplied) or plumbed straight into your water line. Controls are… Read more ·  2

easy to use with 6 cycles displayed, another light one for water issues and yet another light when your rinse aid dispenser needs filling. There is an excellent manual on line for this dishwasher which is very comprehensive. Talking about cycles,I did noticed the 30min one requires you to really clean your items before they go into the dishwasher.Otherwise, some residue will be evident at completion of the cycle. Also cheap cups with graphics on them tend to lose their colour (especially red). Our dishwasher is used only for plates, dishes, cups and cutlery, so clogging of the filter is not an issue. If the filter does need cleaning, it is really easy to access. Overall, this dishwasher is ideal for renters or households with 1/2 people and it is not that noisy.

So disappointing – I was honestly in LOVE with this dishwasher, for the first year. Then, it decided to simply stop working - if I dare turn it on, all I get is an unhelpful error. The book gives little info on what the error code is - it seems like it's the same code for any and all issues. Washer blocked? Here, have a random flashing light. Washer not draining?… Read more

Here, have the same blinky light. Now: Wrong phase of the moon?..... You guessed it - our good ol' friend, Blinky.

Watching the repairman work on it was a comedy of errors. The spaces are so tight, the poor guy kept getting his hand stuck. Then, I was shown that the circuit board that is the brains of the thing was not sealed from the rest of the unit in any watertight manner. So, it's really not hard for water to reach the system and kill it, which appears to be what has happened. Countless costs later and I'm still scrubbing pots by hand. I could have used the money to pay the neighbour's kid to do the dishes.. Instead, my dishes are dirty, my neighbour's kid is without pocket money and I have now got the world's boxiest paperweight, complete with random blinking light.

Plus side: it's really quite compact and will not completely fill my bin when I get around to throwing it away.

Great dishwasher for renters or small kitchens – I'm really happy with this. I've had it for almost a year and after a little fussing around to the fittings right (try Bunnings) and working out the threading with my tap it's been working great with a watertight seal between the hose and faucet. It saves me several sink-loads of washing each day and keeps the benches in my tiny kitchen free of… Read more

dishes. A couple of things I've noticed that are necessary for seamless operation: make sure that there's no cutlery blocking the detergent holder as it won't be able to snap open when the load starts; and before you put a load on check that you can't see any of the dish rims visible under the rack as this seems to stop the wash cycle in my machine.

Very good benchtop dishwasher – This dishwasher can fit easily on any kitchen benchtop. It has enough height to fit dinner plates up to 25.5cm(10 inches) bigger plates can be tilted over to fit. It heats the water inside so only need a cold water connection. Cleans very well all the dishes, bowl, cutlery, and medium-size pots & pans as well and is very quiet when operating. Show details

So quiet and easy to use – After reading lots of positive reviews, we bought this beautiful benchtop dishwasher and couldn't be happier. Very easy to use: just attach the hoses, plug it in, and away it goes. It fits about 6 place-settings worth of dishes - cups, bowls, plates, and cutlery. Best of all, it's super-quiet! Had to check a few times to be sure it was on! If… Read more

Wish I had bought this years ago – I loathe washing dishes, so this benchtop dishwasher has been a lifesaver. I recently moved into my new home, but unfortunately had no space for a dishwasher (older home). My only option was to bring in a carpenter to cut out space (was hoping to wait till I'm ready to renovate). Then I saw benchtop dishwashers. There's 2 of us plus 2 cats, and… Read more

for something small, it fits quite a bit in. Been using for a few weeks now, and I love to bake and cook, so it's definitely been tested.

I have reduced how often I use my large (28cm?) plates, opting for side plates or the flatter bowls. But the large plates can and do get cleaned, if you angle them in (this was my biggest concern). They just take up space so you don't get as many dishes in during that wash. I've also tested out pots, and they clean well. I do take time to give everything a rise before going in though.

You can get adaptors for the kitchen, but I ended up putting my dishwasher in the laundry room on top the dryer, since the hose attachments are the same. It's the next room over from the kitchen, so carting dishes back and forth isn't a problem.

Sound wise, haven't noticed. I know it's running but it's not loud, but I'm not in an apartment, so can't comment on what it would be like in a small space.

I did like someone's suggestion about leaving the door open once it's finished so it dries properly. Definitely required.

I only wish I had bought this when I was at an old rental a few years ago!

Perfect for renters – I wish we'd bought one sooner. This dishwasher fits on a corner of our benchtop and connects to the kitchen sink with the included fittings. It's a perfect size for a couple, and takes a day's worth of mugs, cereal bowls, and plates (although I'd suggest looking up the manual online to make sure your plates will fit inside it). We run it almost… Read more

every night, and are still on our first 1kg bottle of washing powder six months later.

The normal wash cycle takes an hour or so, but unless your place is really small it's easy to run it overnight and not notice the noise.

works very well – Perfect bench top dish washer solution for kitchens that don't have built-in or free standing space. Easy to fit/wash four people's dishes in the tray. The sound is not loud and washing time/result is reasonable. It doesn't require dedicated water supply. Within the box, it comes with a converter so it can get water direct from kitchen tapes.  Show details

Wow product with heaps of room – We bought this lovely dishwasher 10 days ago from appliance online. I order Tuesday night and it delivered next day at 8:30 to my home, fantastic. We run it at night. It works perfect for 2 of us no kid. We always use 1 hr washing option. It washes the dishes better than me, my wife said. We are totally happy with that. If you do not enough place… Read more

for a big free stand dishwasher and looking for a good small benchtop one, go for it. I connected the hose to the cold tap permanently, so our cabinet door under the sink is open a bit but my wife said I am happy with that cause she doe not have to connect it each time to use it. I've got a few connector from bunnings to do it permanently.

The price was amazing. The goodguys price was $569 while applianceonline price was $459, but we bought it for $417!!!!!! because I found it in another online store and ask applianceonline to match the price for me and it is done. Great.

I love it – 2019 update: I still love this dishwasher. The kitchen was upgraded so it finally sits on the bench. For a while now I’ve had some issues starting - I have to slam the door shut really hard but it seems to take it AND turn on. It goes like a dream.. quiet. No leakage. Works well. Once it has turned off you should leave door open to avoid… Read more

condensation building up. When it stops working I will definitely get another. I have used it everyday for for over 3 years. The connector is an orange hose connector. Has made my life so much easier. Also I removed the annoying latticed lid/flaps to the cutlery box - I can throw the cutlery in now!

ORIGINAL: This is a review for ODW101W. I live in a rental property with a kitchen so small I can't even put this on a benchtop. I have put on a wheely table. A lovely bunnings man gave me the right connector fittings to run the water inlet to the tap (which I just click on and off) and I run the outflow water into a bucket which means I don't need to wheel to sink (outflow hose shorter than inflow). It hardly uses any water. The dishwasher is quiet with short and long settings. It beeps if I forget to turn on water and when finished. It fits a lot in if you follow the diagrams. I Absolutely love it after years of hand washing. Should have looked into years ago.
