Discriminatory deal for singles. Cashback for families and singles with a child 3 times those for single people, but the rate single people pay is almost as much as for families. Why. They can keep their damn deals, I’m not going with them.

Big Switch and provide no resolution, leaving me stuck in a loop with no accountability. The whole experience feels misleading. Verdict: Don’t be lured in by the promotional offers. Based on my experience, the promised bonus was not delivered as promised and with no sight, despite 1 month overdue.

Got a cold call from them to talk about energy offers, let them know I’m already getting a good deal through work elsewhere and the lady on the phone became aggressive with me. Can’t remember how they got my details…

Great deal !! – As I am moving I decided to look for a good electricity deal for my new place, so did heaps of research. In my offer it mentions, $50 gift card from OBS It does state that the offer as a whole is for for new and moving customers. I understood the words moving customers to mean moving from one plan to another because as far as I'm concerned new customers would include those going from one provider to another. further, but the wording is misleading and deceptive so don't be taken in by it if you are already an Origin Customer. We have two accounts with Origin so after the next bills come in we will be moving to Red Energy. Their offers are straight forward with no jargon.

Terrible – I changed suppliers a few years ago when they were promoting click energy . Didn’t stay with them for long as my power bills were more expensive than they had ever been. Really don’t think they are trustworthy and if you put negative comments on their Facebook posts they will disappear

Absolute scam! I signed up Origin energy with One big switch offer and never got 50 dollars Mastercard

Beware - cash backs are not as they seem – You may be offered a "virtual card" where you accept the terms and conditions... little do you know that your card has an expiry date. This company relies on people not using their cards during a period of time and voila, it's gone.

Poor customer service – I was reading through all of the comments on here and was wondering if anybody else had noticed that the only time big switch have responded was when it was a good review. No response to negative ones. Says a lot right there

Signed up to engery plan 2 weeks ago, now prices increased – Surely Origin ni conjunction with OBS would have known of the upcoming increase to energy costs, instead, only 2 weeks after changing energy plans Origin raised the prices and now on a plan much higher than what was advertised, messaged them on facebook about being unhappy, no response what so ever.

No gift card! – Signed up to HCF in July through One Big Switch and was meant to receive a $400 gift Card after 3 months, but have not received anything or heard from them.

What a disaster – Tried to change electricity supplier, did not happen then rang one big switch again, still no welcome pack from Sumo, Rang Sumo direct and was promised a welcome pack . Waited 2 weeks then went with another supplier after telling Sumo we would NOT be using them and signed up with someone else. One month late get a email from Sumo saying they have connected us. So spent an hour today sorting it out after 4 phone calls.

HCF EFTPOS Card offer, or not as the case may be! – I signed up with one big switch to transfer my health insurance from BUPA to HCF. The offer was after 4 months with HCF if I took a couples plus extra policy I would receive a $400 EFTPOS card. card number was requested by HCF, at no point did they or one big switch day it would impact the offer I originally signed up for, or I wouldn’t have provided the number! One big switch are now denying I’ve signed up using them and HCF aren’t interested in helping either. Be very careful when using either company as I feel like I’ve been duped!

**update** After many emails and checking of phone calls with HCF it was agreed I had signed up on the offer and I was subsequently awarded my eftpos card. Be very careful when signing up, save all email correspondence, do not provide your flybuys details to HCF and I would also advise to contact HCF after sign up and confirm they are aware you signed up on the eftpos card offer via 9Saver/One Big Switch

Health cover review – I always review my Health Cover annually & recently (April 2020) changed over to HCF via a One Big Switch offer. The cover & cost was equivalent to my previous provider however HCF is slightly better in a few areas. I can tell you I was not happy especially with my wife and I being on a pension. Started to look around on my own. Got a couple of quotes from different insurers, then checked the Budget Direct offer as per your last email. Wow, a pleasant surprise. I found we could get exactly the same cover for half that amount. We saved a massive $700+ simply because we followed One Big Switch's recommendation and just a little legwork. Did it all online. No comparison sites either. Rang my previous insurer to ensure no direct debit would be made and to cancel the policy. That was no problem. I didn't even have to answer any questions such as why. All I told them I was going elsewhere and they simply said OK. Very surprised at not being asked why! What else can I say, but thank you One Big Switch and Joel Gibson. I thought I try through PayPal and get my credits refunded. Guess what? It worked.
