Onkyo TX-NR676E

I have been an Onkyo fan as my first receiver TX-DS595 bought in 2008 lasted for ever. Upgraded to a new model TX-NR676E with all bells and whistles. It failed exactly after the 3 year warranty period. I bought another Onkyo TXSR393 which lasted only 3 years. Since I liked the product, I contacted Onkyo to complain that the quality of the products have gone down badly and would not buy Onkyo anymore. The agents "Premium Audio Company Australia" contacted me and as a good will offered a $250 Gift card, but the gift card never arrived. I was also busy with my house build and forgotten the whole thing. When I contacted later they said the person promised the gift card is no longer with the company and his promise cannot be honoured. Even though I had the email trail, it seems that I waited too long. I am not after the gift card but if this is the kind of treatment rendered to a loyal customer, I felt that I should publish a review so that others wont buy Onkyo products anymore which was once renowned for it's quality.
