As a business owner, i would honestly recommend no restaurant to use this crappy system/ company. Zero support and very very limited functionality. I had to pour good money after bad money to terminate the contract with them. Rubbish!

Intrusive and offensive: I had to confirm my booking 3 times (twice by text and once by email) on 3 different days, each time being advised that I only had a 10-minute window for my booking after which I would be charged $50 per head - despite the obvious that a 10-minute delay in Sydney traffic is a regular occurrence. Attempt to get your… Read more

personal information: When asked to leave a review of the restaurant, I was required, over two screens, to provide my first name, second name, phone number and email address.

Total ripoff. I couldn't book the time I wanted so clicked on a different time and proceeded to pay for a window table. I didn't realize when I changed the time they automatically changed the date until I received the confirmation email. Of course it is non-refundable. Don't go there.

Intrusive, faulty site – They demand far more info than they need, full name, email and phone number, presumably to sell it on. This is low level phishing. On confirmation of the booking the site kept reporting errors at their end. After several tries I got a confirmation email, followed 6 hours later by a cancellation email. I'm going to report this to the restaurant. There are other booking sites that are far better.

Bad bad bad practice – They or the restaurant (the grounds of alexandria) changed my booking time without notice. Booked for 12:45pm and an hour later received an email saying booking changed to 2pm

Pretty poor experience – Rhis is a pretty poor platform - when I tried to amend it kept saying “whoops this is our fault” and could t help me communicate with the provider - never gonna use it again….

Rip off – Product is okay but their fees are very sly. They have a per person booking Fee of $2 per person booked via their open table network, depending on which plan you have. So you get charged their monthly fee and then a charge per person, what they dont tell you is when you add all your links into google their main one is sponsored NOT your affiliate… Read more

link, so you get a bill that is DOUBLE. They claim they claim ignorance. I then canceled my contract with them within their time frame, had a customer rep say that is all good to cancel and then get a bill for another month saying its in the contract, Well maybe tell me that on the phone 10/10 would NOT recommend.

Plain hopeless, they don't even seem to know what day of the week you have made a lunch booking for! – OpenTable is an online restaurant reservation company / service (or lack thereof). I made a booking on January 1st for a birthday lunch on January 2nd. I received confirmation on January 1, stating I had a booking one day too early - Reservation Date Today 12.30 pm Then a follow up message stating reservation 01/02/2022 On page 2 of the first… Read more

email, they had the correct details -

Inside Dining • Table for 2 on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at 12:30 pm

which conflicted with the earlier incorrect details and follow up message.

This company was formed in San Francisco in 1998 and appears to be a nonessential "middleman" entity that can't even get the basics right!
