Optislim Green Thai Chicken Curry & Veg with Brown Rice & Quinoa

A Good One To Avoid – Optislim. A few weeks ago I was gifted some shakes by a well meaning friend, she also gave me one of the meals.Being less than impressed with the shakes I put the meal in the back of the cupboard until last night. I was concerned because I am always skeptical of any ‘meals’ that are not refrigerated .The salt content in the 300g Thai Green Curry bowl is a massive 1038mg,that should be visible on the front of the wrapper, not in small print on the back. The pack says cooked fresh and snap sealed using modern retort technology, locking in flavour and taste….NO IT DOESN’T lock in flavour…the pack says it is low in sugar but 8 grams in a 300 gram bowl is not low…it is definitely low in taste, low in appeal. They say you eat with your eyes well I could feel my retinas burning just looking at my plate. A fibre sachet comes with every meal, half a sachet is recommended if you have a sensitive stomach. Made in Thailand. Sensitive stomach or not I wouldn’t recommend any of it.
