Optoma is a poor brand – It broke down after 3 years (using it once per fortnight) due to a manufacturing defect that was assessed by a projector repair company - $900 repair bill I have been writing to Optoma USA and Optoma Australasia via email and facebook for weeks - no replies at all! Will never buy Optoma ever again.

Great projector for that price – Bought in eBay from overseas so price was half of AU stores. Great performance. Colors and resolution very good. I watch hips of 3D movies. Works with SBS, OU. Easy to used. Quiet. I use it in my home cinema where most time is dark, so cannot complain about picture quality. But after light on image is still good quality with full lamp light. Price. Picture quality. Easy operate 3D. Freedom of connect almost every signal (analog, HDMI, VGA). Very quiet. This type of globe produce lot of heat (LED lamp could solved this problem), which could be a problem in hot day.
