Old Fashion but functional and rugged – I brought this watch to use as my bike computer display and time display combine with their AD262 BLE bike pod, it is an old style sports watch with dot matrix display, it is waterproof and uses standard CR2032 coin cell. It is quite bulky for wear on my wrist but good enough to use its supplied bike mount(came with AD262 bike pod). It is a quite outdated watch but I got both devices very cheap through eBay and catch.com.au so it does for my intention of usage as a bicycle computer.

OBSOLETE PRODUCT – I bought this watch in good faith and discovered that this watch is already 4 year old obsolete technology, in the pamphlet it states that it works on APPLE APPS but not on ANDROID, but it did say that an ANDRROID APP was coming soon. Guess what, they have no plan to introduce an android app. I decided to keep it so I might be able to get it going with a friends compatible I-Phone. my whole point here is DON'T BUY AN OREGON PRODUCT unless you have apple tech, which I don't. SIMPLY WHOLESALE are selling one at the moment, an OREGON SCIENTIFIC SE 900 SSMART TRAINER WATCH for $39.95. I'm just saying, BUYER BEWARE, there are many better products out there, have a real good look and make sure that it is compatible with APPLE and ANDROID.

This was a reply that I received from the company BPM when I said it was a useless watch, now keep in mind that the write up did say that an ANDROID APP was coming soon.

" what I'm saying. It's not useless as it's intention was to operate with iPhones & it does that perfectly well.

In this case, it's a little like buying a petrol operated car & filling it with diesel then calling it useless.

It was designed at the time Apple was at its peak market share. Everything catered to them. A lot has changed since then and the android platform has a bigger share of the market & it's something they could have factored in back then.

Unfortunately that didn't happen. So it stayed a iPhone driven device.

Kind regards
