Worked intermittently and then died after 2 years – Had trouble with this unit and needed to reset often when readings stopped. After only 21/2 years it has died and we need to purchase a new one. Will not be an Oregon

Disappointing – I have had an Oregon rain gauge (model RGR126) for several years and it worked pretty well. When it finally stopped working I was keen to replace it with the current equivalent, the RGR126N. It has been a disappointment. First it does not measure inside temperature, unlike its predecessor. I have no idea why this function would have been removed as it should be the easiest to implement. Second, the rainfall reset function does not work. In order to reset this function I have to do a total reset, so then I have to re-enter the date and time. It is not a disaster but it is an irritating nuisance.

I do not know if this is a known fault with this model, an error in the instructions in the Users Manual, or a defect in my particular unit. Of course Oregon totally ignore my requests for assistance.

Perfect for what we need. Never had any problems with it – If you just want something simple to use inside/outside temp & rain gauge then this is what you need. I have had family members have other expensive weather stations and they have seem to have problems with them. The 8 years we have had ours we have never had a problem with it. reliable, inexpensive, easy to us
