because I purchased overseas they won’t fix it. I find this strange on a product that is made for global travel they won’t honour the guarantee. I then approached osprey global and they said that if the Australian distributor won’t honour it there is nothing they can do. Not once has anyone asked what the issue is or asked for photos

Given this I would not again pay a premium for their products and the warranty is not worth anything.

Osprey Stratos 25 back pack – The back pack lacked space something that is not readily apparent. Looks good, but is not wide enough the front pocket does not have enough opening space to fit an A4 12 page display file easily. The file has to be folded to put it inside. This is a thin display file in which I carry all my bookings. Looks good but I find it impracticable

Used to be good but seem to have greatly reduced quality of product – I have been buying Osprey products for over a decade now and have always been very impressed with their quality, hence continuing to spend my money with them. Unfortunately with the latest product I bought I have seen a significant reduction in that quality. I have only had the bag for 18 months and pockets on both sides have deteriorated… Read more

significantly, one to the level of being unusable as well significant thinning on the bag itself. Certainly not what I would expect from my previous experience. I did contact Osprey direct about this and they told me to contact their repair centre, which I will probably end up doing as the bag wasn’t cheap, but really I would prefer it if the bag was built to a better quality in the first place. They are an established brand who have made good products in the past and I put my trust in that with this purchase.

Osprey backpacks – I recently bought two duffle bags to carry our gym gears. A burnt orange for me and an olive colour for hubby. I have bought quite a number of backpacks in the past and have been most impressed with the quality and the retail price especially the discounted price is a great bargain. Not only do the bags / backpacks look good but they wear well.
