OtterBox Superstore

Scam site – Scam site, paid for an OtterBox, never came. Never got my money back. No response to complaints. Never buying OtterBox again. Really like their products but this is not the site to buy from.

Nothing received – I ordered a S6 defender case and three weeks later still nothing. The links on the email go to some random site page and the phone number goes to voicemail.

Lesson learnt, check for online store reviews! – Ordered an Otterbox Defender for an iphone 6 plus on the 20th of August, paying extra for next day delivery. Was concerned when the item didn't arrive the next day, however we then received an email advising it had been dispatched, so thought we would follow up with the 'next day' issue once we had received the item. and still no phone cover. We have tried emailing and calling the contact details provided and are unable to get through. The 'follow tracking' link on their last email also leads nowhere. At this point having googled the store name and found all of these terrible reviews, we figure we can kiss our money goodbye. As such we have put a stop on our VISA and are making a claim for the payment through our bank. We've never been caught like this before and it just shows how a really legitimate looking site and business can catch you out (I was taken in by the Australian contact details and testimonials). Beware also that they appear to have a number or legitimate looking websites, the vendor on our bank statement is SMARTPHONEPROTECTION, which when googled is another legitimate looking online store with terrible reviews.

SCAMMERS reported to GOOGLE and Mastercard – These scammers have been spending money on my credit card, I put a stop on the card but not before they maxed out my card. How are they still allowed to operate!!!

Non-delivery, no responses – Ordered and paid for otter box product from OtterBox superstore on 4 June, still not received (24 July), no response to phone msgs and emails bounce back. Assume this site is fraudulent.

Otterbox can't be trusted!! – Ordered IPad case from Otterbox Australian website. Product not received and international transaction fee charged when there was no disclosure of this on their website. Not sure how this company is allowed to operate, so many bad reviews that I wish I saw earlier.

response assuring me the product was on its way. I asked for a full refund as had since had to purchase another product and after delayed responses again I was told it would be refunded to my card. This never happened, product never turned up. I did get my money back via my credit card company but the time and energy spent chasing this company was terrible.

Do not try and use them as can only end in disappointment. I hope they are soon out of business as seems a reoccurring theme and I wish I read the reviews earlier!

answer. I found all these reviews and was concerned I had been scammed so I contacted my bank. However in the morning my product arrived as promised! I still haven’t received my receipt or any reply to my email but I think this company just really need to work on its communication.

No Warranty outside U.S – Otterbox used to be great. If your case was damaged under warranty they’d replace it for you. I live in Australia and it was never an issue as long as I paid for shipping and handling. In the Trump era things changed though. just so long as you buy from their online store. Buy from a retailer here in Aus and that’s you’re only option when it comes to obtaining a warranty or replacement. I only ever buy from manufacturers with great reputations and outstanding customer service who stand by their product, no matter what. Otterbox once fell into that category - since they’ve adopted the ‘America first’ mentality though, I won’t be touching any of their products in future.

Don’t use – So I’m Not going to go into how incredibly bad there customer service is.. or the fact that there phone number has been disconnected or that they use the WORST delivery service ever.. they’ll say it’s overnight- but it’ll never come... after going through the hassle of changing my credit card details. I’m now going through fraud at my bank to get the money refunded. So frustrating..

have never been scammed before and it is not a nice feeling. The company comes up first or 2nd when you type it into google so it seems credible, but it's certainly not. I have reported it to my bank and it is now in investigation. I hope I get my money back and I hope no one else loses theirs!

It is obvious looking at past history of these companies that are all connected and that it is all a scam.

Do not under stand how they think they can make a buck doing this in our connected world, especially as Pay Pal will credit my payment back to me.

Do NOT buy from this site – As with everyone else I wish I read these reviews first! I purchased an S6 defender cover. After entering my credit card details I screen shotted the invoice number (luckily) and that was it, no email confirmation or receipt. No response to emails and the number doesn't work. Never received product. I am currently trying to get my money back through credit card provider.

Also scammed – Ordered inv 4149 7/7/17 item never received. No response from seller. Emailed and phone. I would say for sure it's a scam. Now to lodge a refund with my credit card provider.

Shocking...SCAMMERS – Its a scam!! Paid for a Defender Samsung case 3 weeks ago and apparently out of stock. I've written 3 emails and called their number 2 times...also to note is that the post code listed for Gladesville NSW is not genuine, the post code they show is 1675 when it is actually 2111. RIP OFF MERCHANTS, don't go near them!!

Never again!!!! – Ordered Otterbox commuter case for Samsung galaxy s5. Paid extra postage to get it asap. The case came after more than 10days and guess what???? They sent me case for IPhone 5. I foolishly bought from these people – I should have checked out reviews of this site first before I bought. I've paid extra for "express overnight shipping" to be sitting here a week later with nothing to show for it. I'm currently in the process of starting a paypal dispute. What a joke this company is. uncommunicative. We provided them with the negative reviews we had found here, pointing out they could avoid another one simply by responding. Nothing. No Response. I'll be putting in a request to get our money back via the credit card company for non-receipt of goods. I have never experienced anything this bad in the years I've been ordering items online. Buyer beware. I did not do my research on this one.

Update 17Jan17 - Got a shipment notification via email yesterday afternoon, indicating it shipped yesterday (over 1 week after we ordered it for next business day delivery). It had a tracking number, but no shipper link to actually track it with. Later, received an email with a tracking number and a shipper. Looks like we may have it by day's end. Crossing my fingers (based on other reviews) that we get the right product.

Update 18Jan17 - Correct product was received, one business day after shipping. Too bad this business took so long to ship. This could have been a 4* review instead of a 1* review.

Avoid - you have no idea when or if you will recieve anything – They took my money a month ago, then nothing. No communication, no phone cover. Sent emails, no response. I raised a complaint via Consumer Affairs yesterday to get my money back, and apparently there is something at the post office today. Maybe they only ship after a complaint. If so, now I'm stuck selling the cover at a loss.

Do not use this retailer - especially if you enjoy getting what you actually order! – I ordered a Galaxy Note 5 Defender case from otterboxsuperstore.com.au, and when it finally arrived, they had sent me one for a Galaxy S6. I made multiple attempts to contact them to arrange an exchange, and guess what? No response. Very poor form sending the wrong item in the first place, but to not receive any response from them? Exceptionally poor form. I would never consider using this retailer again.

Hopeless...don't use this mob – Received incorrect item. Emailed. No response, phoned & told would send correct product. A week later no product, no consignment note#, rang, got answering machine, no Call back...waste of space. Note: they also trade as LifeProof Superstore and Smartphone Superstore. If you check their reviews you will find more complaints about shonky practices
