Price is okay, you still "get what you pay for". Good bench grinder for basic use. Vibrates a lot. I buy Ozito brand mainly because it supposed to be Australian made and for minor use tools and I do not expect much for low end products. But the company should at least provide proper instructions and parts for the tools they sell. Instructions said to hold the wheel with one hand and loosen the nut with a wrench in order to replace the wheel? I had to use a screwdriver to lock the wheel in place. Then it says to use a spacer when replacing the grinding wheel with a wirebrush wheel but doesn't supply or sell that part.

Waste of time and money – Got one use out of it before it broke. Wheels won't spin up without considerable assistance from a wire wheel drill bit. When up to speed, has no power and stalls.

Deadly Bench Grinder – Mounted it to 140kg welding table just to sharpen Tig 3mm electrodes..turned it on, the wheels and motor started vibrating violently to the point the tools on table started chattering. Extremely poor balanced grinding stones, motor assembly is on an angle causing it to not spin concentrically. The Vibration causes the bolts to loosen up specially on the grinding table being held by 1 PLASTIC NUT. Bunnings, Ozito and Australian Standards should be ashamed of themselvesfor passing and selling dangerous machinery to the general public capable of causing serious injuries. While i understand super profits and shareholder happiness is the driver..surely some conscience must be employed by, dont buy these machines they are capableof being deadly projectile, spend the money and get a name brand one...your out of pocket health insurance will be much less.

Purchased in for $40.

Ozito Bench Grinder doesn't grind – A few years ago I purchased a 150W Ozito Bench grinder for my father. He doesn't use it much and managed to get about 3 uses out of it, the last requiring the grinding stone to be hand turned to assist in starting it up. Now it won't even start with a hand assisted turning. It just sits there and hums away. It doesn't even have the power necessary to turn the grinding wheels. The device has not been modified or tampered in any way. It just sat, unused, in the shed on the bench. To say I'm disappointed in this product is the least of it. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star rating except the web site made me. I used it once to show my father how to use it; he used it twice to do small grinding jobs of a few minutes each (the last job required manual turning to start it) and today it won't even start at all. This is a miserable product and I am warning other people to stay away from these under engineered and poorly constructed tools. Since the unit was a present, and we expected it to last more than 3 uses, we no longer have the receipt and thus don't expect a refund or replacement. I would not recommend Ozito products to any of our friends or colleagues and we will not purchase any other Ozito products from Bunnings.

UPDATE 25/09/2019 I had a call from Bunnings to offer a refund or replacement. I was most surprised considering I don't have the docket any more. To their credit they're still happy for the refund/exchange as long as I provide my driver's licence. I'll be taking up the offer and getting a refund. Thank you Bunnings.
