Cheap but nasty pole trimmer – Usually I am a fan of Ozito DIY tools, but this is disappointing. Very very top heavy. Just trimmed 2m wide tall hedge yesterday, my arms still sore !!

You get what you pay for – It does a good job but it is top heavy. You'll know you have had a good workout after using this machine for a couple of hours of hedging. Needs to be a bit more balanced and ergonomic. You need to be more like Skipper than a Gilligan!!

Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $110.

Difficult to use – I bought it three months ago and use it twice. The first time is for a hedge of 2.9m height, it is top heavy and hard to manage it. The second time is for a low hedge and the switch is too far to reach unless I stand far away from the hedge but it is even harder to operate the top heavy machine horizontally in distance.

Purchased in at Bunnings Warehouse for $110.

This machine is a terrible design – It looks cheap & poorly built, It feels cheap & poorly built, It is extremely top heavy, It is almost impossible to maneuver once extended above your head. It is too short, but if it was any longer you would not be able to use it. I bought one of these today at Bunnings for $99.00. I took it home and put it together then without starting it I held it up against the high hedges that I would be pruning. It is the most unbalanced & uncomfortable tool I have ever held. I didn't have to start it to know already that it would not be an easy tool to use. So pulled it apart, put it back in the box and it goes back to Bunnings in the morning.

It may have a fine & dandy motor & do a wonderful job at cutting, but what good is that when machine is designed so poorly that you cannot control it because it is so top heavy. Edit: Took it back to Bunnings today for a refund which I got no questions asked, but the counter staff looked at it and said not another one these. He said that quite a few people have taken them back because they are Too heavy. The blade head weighs 4 kilos.
