Rotary Hammer Drill – WOW What a great little tool !! Made light work of removing glued down cork tiles and even easier and cleaner work of removing carpet anchor strips around room perimeters. This tool works so efficiently , is easy to handle and oh so easy to slip in another tool head Can't recommend it highly enough I am a slight 47kg older female and did not… Read more

3 years on, still going strong – I got mine from Bunnings 3 years ago, along with an Ozito lawn mower and Ozito whipper snipper. The whipper snipper was useless (the string line kept snapping) and the mower has been replaced twice under warranty. But the edger is still hanging in there! About 100 metres of concrete/paving brick edging done once a week/fortnight and after 3 years… Read more

I have to replace the blade as it is worn down to 3/4 of it's original size. And it's better than my neighbour's Ryobi edger which throws grass and soil EVERYWHERE.

Ozito LWE lawn edger – Have owned and used this product for over 2 years now. Construction is a bit flimsy but it does the job if handled correctly. About to replace the blade as half of the serrations are almost gone. Show details

Piece of Junk - BRAND NEW - Motor gave up after 3 minutes of gentle use – Today I finally opened the sealed box for the Lawn Edger 1400W. Pretty fragile build but its cheap. However I did not bargain on the motor quitting forever after 3 Minutes of Use. Now starts the fun of trying to get Bunnings to accept a return. Bunnings is doing themselves a big disservice by associating with a junk manufacturer called Ozito.… Read more

Their powered equipment is banned on all construction sites throughout Australia by the CFMEU because the insulation fails. The dead lawn edger is testimony to this ban being correct. I thought I was being smart by buying cheap - The joke is on me.....

Value, treat it with gentle hands – Previous comments about the handle/startare fair, but if you respect it is Chinese junk and treat it with respect, what a good deal. Paid $99.00 READ THE INSTRUCTIONS, and treated it with great care. Did a 15 mm, magic, over a 14 meter curb that was matted. I then ran it at 25 mm and was so much easier as I and the machine found a friendship. Now… Read more

I need to mow the Council path and with the created gap from the edge of the concrete curb, the final 35 mm cut will be a piece of cake. Treat as the cheap plastic junk it is, but the motor and application is very cost effective.

Trim, taut and terrific – This is sooooo much better and easier to use than the standard whipper snippers available. I needed something functional at a good price after having left a previous whipper snipper idle in the garage for 2 years. I preferred to use spade and hand cutter than the whipper snipper. The main difference and most important is that I don't have to… Read more ·  1

struggle with the cutting cables on standard trimmers. They would get stuck, snag not extend when needed etc and a massive pain to replace. The blade on this Ozito is very effective and also adjustable. It has a fair bit of grunt and needs firm holding but does cut a very straight edge. It took a little patience to put together, and I would have preferred a single column rather than 2 joined but this does allow for lengthening. I haven't enquired about the cost of replacement blades but get the feeling that this blade will last a while. Don't have to worry about refilling with petrol as the electric motor does the trick and as as mentioned is full of oomph. I'm very aware of the extension cable at all times. On first use the height adjuster control button came off but stayed on fine after retightening. I trim approx 100 metres of nature strip and shared drive and the test was the positive comment received by our first visitors after the cut. Now all I need to do is get out again and finish the neighbour's side but looking forward to it.

Sadly my first one died - Great value going to buy another – Sadly first one died after 49 months, long after 36 month warranty. Paid $129. Averaged $2 each time I used. Repair quote $160. Off to Bunnings to buy another for $99. Show details

Great edger for a Budget – Edger easy to use and Assemble, packaged simplistic and only 5 minutes tops assembly with the use of single Phillips head, surprisingly a very quite Edger. Very light in manufacture, my only grievance is that it is very unbalanced and will not stay upright by itself with out support it will lie down or topple over, other than that a breeze to use. Safety features simplistic.  Show details

WARNING – $99 gets you a flimsy machine that does the job. However, don't bother asking Bunnings for a replacement blade. They are a special order and worth more than half the cost of a new machine. I'd recommend spending a little more on a machine that doesn't cost a fortune for spare parts.  Show details

Does the edges OK, but flimsy plastic parts break – My brand spanking new electric edger lasted less than 10 minutes, before the upper section of the handle pulled out of the flimsy el-cheapo plastic connectors that held the top and bottom sections of the handle together. Cannot fit it back together, because the plastic holding pins seem to have broken off. What a let-down, as it seemed to be doing an OK job of edging.  Show details

Great edger for the everyday household – It's light and easy to use, even with the two-button-press safety operation. If you use it properly you will never have an issue with the edging. There is room for the handle to be strengthened a bit, as it feels somewhat on the flimsy side and twists a little when you're pushing it around. But it's really a non-issue - because the amount of times I edge my lawn in a month vs the price of the edger, I can put up with it :)  Show details

Love it – Very powerful. Although gets a bit heavy after a while. Great cutting. Well made. Took me awhile to put together. But once done I was very happy. Great value for the price. Would expect to pay more for this product. So over all I'm impressed by it. Long warranty a bonus.  Show details

Quick and effective edger – Been looking at 100m of Buffalo edge steadily getting worse. Hard work using spade so edger was purchased. Finding the edge was more difficult than using the machine. Did a terrific job. No waiting for motor to cool down. Professional edge was created in minutes. Took longer to sweep up but very worthwhile.  Show details

Great Budget Edger – Well, I have retired from 30 years in Horticulture to my small residential block. I just purchased one of these from Bunnings and it works really well. For my limited purposes, as well as any other edger I have used or purchased for my staff. It gives a great edge along concrete for either couch of SL Buffalo turf. I managed to use it from either… Read more

the concrete or turf side as well. Works backwards or forwards, I just ordered 2 more blades as they need a "Special Order" from Bunnings.

Simple and Safe! Makes trenches for xmas light cables perfecty! – Although great for edging driveways, my purpose is to make shallow trenches to bury. It requires a middle buttom and the two handles triggers to start the motor. Will deactivate if the handles are let go. Then it needs to be retarted. I go all out with Christmas lights and havings cords everywhere is just a disaster waiting to happen. Have… Read more

only just bought this and it has saved hours of work with a shovel. Now I can trench all lawn cables with no effort at all. Best investment for the lights as of yet.

Absolutely Crap House! – Wouldn't tear skin off custard! Absolutely GARBAGE! The rotation of the cutting edge goes anti clockwise for starters... FAIL! Can't adjust it. The belt started smoking after 30 seconds! The edges have been done many times before. Electrical was better, more grunt. I had a 35 year old trimmer that much better.  Show details

what a time saver! – From first use I found it takes a matter of seconds to trim edges that took me many times longer by roller trimmer or spade edge and easier and safer than trying to whippersnipper the edges. Wish I had had something similar years ago. Had no stoppages but then the 50m of edges only takes 2 or 3 minutes of actual trimming.  Show details

A Dud Product – Got Lawn Edger from Bunning Bankstown as Christmas gift, try to run edger to edge lawn but it stop after 5 minutes doing just a small edge, so stop work to cool this machine and tried again but run only for 2 minutes, then tried next day it work again for 5 minutes and stop again, finally finished job of edging 15 meter job after 4 days. Went… Read more

to Bunning Bankstown for replacement or refund, flatly refused to accept as I am told that i am trying to work during day, as this edger cannot run for more then 3 minutes and i should wait 10-20 minutes to cool and not to run for more then 3 minutes, if i overheat the circuit it will need 24 hours to cool so i have to be careful. When i said i need tools to finish my job fast not to wait for whole day to complete small job, so i am asked to buy petrol edger as this is not a right product to edge the lawn.

never again to buy Ozito product which is marketed by Bunnings very bad after sales services.
