Good but disappointed – I bought this product as it seemed to be very good value for its price and I forsaw future use. The retaining handles never really sat right as in the instructions and I was disappointed when one snapped. The stand had nominal use and was still otherwise in brand new condition but out of warranty. I was more surprised by Bunnings response as… Read more
clearly these handles don't meet the NZ Consumer Gaurentees Act standard of being fit for use, and also for the cost of replacement of the retaining assy. I fabricated a handle and have since made good use of it.
These folding tables are fantastic – Good day to all the DIYs out there after working on the ground or on my black and decker folding work horse i decided to give my back a rest so off to bunnings and purchased my first ozito folding saw stand wow how great it was to put the saw up on this stand the exstentions on each end are great and the whole thing is well made . Now as a saw… Read more
table its a fantastic addition to my work shop i was that impressed i purchased a second one as having limited space in my double garage for a work table so i preceded to make a 20mm ply work top and bolt it to the clamps used for the saw now i have a saw on the stand and now a nice little work table i added a power borad to the table so i can plug in 4 different power tools at the table its such a handy table now . So having these two folding stands its been such a help also being a folding table i made a space on my garage wall where i hang both folded tables so they take up no room at all . I then decided to go back to bunnings to see if i could buy a pair of clamps only and yes i could 35 dollars as spare parts now in my shop i have two stands and three sets of clamps so with my new third set i had a 35 mm sheet of ply so i cut it down to fit a little smaller that my work table as its a heavy bit of timber to throw around so with this table i have fitted T nuts in different positions around this top and a metal strip down the middle now i can bolt all my other tools like my vice bench grinder small drill press scroll saw and will be adding a few dog holes as well and with the metal strip it turned it into a live welding bench also . Now i have just purchased an evalution rage 5s folding table saw this is a great saw with a wide pulll out on the right and a smaller one on the left but i would like to increase the work area so i thought about my ozito folding stands so i have just made a freestanding frame with two drop down legs that fits the stand and just pulls apart and tucks away so now i have theses tables that do so many different applications and only take up a fraction of my garage space , So i would recommend anyone to purchase one of theses stands . Have fun Graham .
I should have bought one of these years ago, but not without its flaws – Bang for buck, you won't get any better. I had to take the first one I bought back to Bunnings for an exchange, as the metal sleeve to house the timber support on one end had a big dent in it and the support was never going to fit in it. The legs, when clicked into place, do have a bit of play in them so the stand can be a bit wobbly if the… Read more
legs aren't pulled out so that they're fully extended.
These are just minor issues though - for $59 this thing is doing wonders for my back, and once set up properly feels solid and sturdy. Not what you'd buy for using on the job site every day, but for a weekend handyman this stand is great.
Bargain- has to be good value at $59 – Brilliant addition to a DIY workshop. You get a lot of stand for little money. Stable and a good height (I'm 6ft). Does everything I want and the combined rollers and stops are a handy extra. Considering its half the price of the closest brand name unit I'm very pleased and should have brought one ages ago. 3 year replacement warranty is a bonus.
Back saver – For $69 bucks you can't and won't go wrong. Right now Bunnings have them for $59! This stand puts the work at the right hight and saves your back. For a DIYer this is great value and sturdy.
