Ozito PXC 18V PAINT SPRAY GUN PXOSGS-018

Great bit of Kit. I painted 70 lineal meters of 6ft fence with this, no hiccups, no heat-up or splatter. All plastic parts make it extremely easy to disassemble and clean. The plastic nozzle doesn't heat up, which is great.

Works great for outdoor projects – Great paint gun for the jobs it's meant for. I've used this to do all my treated pine retaining walls, and a pergola project and it's been great. The finish is fine for Solaguard paint, and the spray pattern is adjustable enough. It's also easy to clean and the battery lasts long enough, by the time it runs out it's time for a break anyway. Very happy with it.
Excellent for outdoor stains and fence painting – Have used this for staining my deck and lawn furniture as well as priming and painting some corrugated roofing iron. Runs hugely better than any Wagner gun I've used, as it seems to suck in pressurized air and use that to propel the paint instead of pressurizing the paint itself. This means that you can spray NZ/AUS brands of paint without the paint jamming the gun every 5 seconds or running as soon as you get it thin enough to stop the jamming.
Adjustable spray pattern and fluid control also lets you get a little more control over the finish quality (peel etc).
As per other reviews this gun wouldn't be suitable for something like car spraying but no electric gun would be.

It depends on what you want – Ok, firstly do not use this if you want a quality flat finish. This is a terrible option, and furthermore any electric gun is a terrible option. If you need to lay down paint for a fence or another project where a quality finish isn’t required it’s perfect. My advice is only use this unit with water based paints. Never use solvent paints with electric equipment.
As the air is not adjustable you have to ensure your paint viscosity is spot on otherwise it won’t work very well. Read your instructions on how to achieve this with the cup provided. Once everything is correct it does lay down paint quite well. Remember to clean the tip regularly as paint can dry and restrict the flow.
I use this to lay down sealers and undercoats on many items that I reclaim. The product is thinned to match the gun then sanded flat. The lumpy finish is not an issue during this stage so I don’t have to worry about the effect doe to loss in power cause by battery fade. I then swap to my compressor and air units for base and top coats.

Whole Fence / Mail Box Done In No Time – Mail Box and some wooden fence needed doing and I am lazy. $60 later and a battery ( I have a couple from prev buys) the jobs were done. My wife also used it for an internal and she was very happy and she is very fussy (no way may I touch that side of things). Dauntingly nuisance jobs in the old days (as I see them) now done in no time with silly low money outlay. 5 year gold brick instore warranty.
