Great Tent though One Serious Defect – The Jet Tent is a very well made tent except for one serious defect which renders them useless. The swages (crimps) used on the stainless steel cables which lock / unlock the legs in place are of VERY POOR quality and fail. Oztent after sales service was VERY POOR. All they wanted to do was sell me another leg with the same poor quality… Read more

components. They then ceased communication. A tent worth close to $2K with accessories was unusable. I worked out how to repair the issue and have been helping out others with the same problem. The tent itself is very well made and spacious. Another down side is that they are heavy and bulky even though they do not pack up 2m long like the RV series of tents. Rather than address the issue of poor quality swages, Oztent have chosen to discontinue making this tent. If you have experienced this issue, I have posted a DIY procedure on 4X4Earth website Forum.

Great for family camping – A sturdy and heavy duty tent which is good in all weather, and which is very roomy - i'm over 6 foot and can stand up inside. Never had any problems and would be good for extended camping with little kids. Easy to put up and pull down. It's been great!!

Wet, wet, wet – Regretting buying this. In theory, it's a great idea! But... Ground needs to be extremely level, you will need a mat and unless you spend 2-300 on one it won't fit like it should. I must admit, once it was set up properly - 3 nights in to a 3 night trip, it was comfy. But the fact that you wake everymornig with the roof dripping and covered in… Read more

water is really a downer for me. And my bag broke when I set up at home to make sure everything was there.

Good concept, poor execution – The idea is great however not enough thought was put in to the contact points of the frame and tent walls when packed. Very little use however each side has holes developing where the outer frame rests against it when packed up. Seams are poorly sealed with the tape pealing away. Great idea but not worth the money

Had it 4 years and its still amazing – We've had the F25X for 4 years now and used it extensively. Never had a single problem. For what it is its amazing. Not as fast as the RV range but not too much longer to get up either. Really happy with it

Warranty is non existent – Reoccurring issues, faulty stitching, breaking zippers, their product is a budget product at a premium price and refunds are non existent, the retailer was tent world and they blamed jet tent while jet tent blamed them and we ended up with a leaky tent, 18 months old and good for scrap.

Extremely heavy but easy to setup and bring down – I've had my Jet tent F-25X series tent for a while but have only recently used the tent. The tent is extremely heavy at 35KG this thing is a back breaker trying to move it around by yourself. I'm 37 years old and very fit but even this thing gets the better of me with the weight of the tent. If you plan on setting this tent up by yourself or… Read more

even packing it into the car by yourself then you better be really fit because this thing will give you a massive workout or even a back injury to go with it.

Once the tent is out of the bag and on the ground it is very easy to setup I had no problem setting the tent up by myself once the struggle had finished to get it out of the back of my ute and out of the bag.

If you are a single woman stay clear of these tents as there was no way my wife could even lift this thing to get it out of the ute.

After the tent was setup I couldn't help but notice how much useable space this tent has with a divided room at the back and a large room at the front. I'm 5'10" and my wife is 6'2" she could stand in the front room with ease. The fly was easy to put on and with a bit of thought I got the fly on with no problem even in the wind by myself.

The tent has ropes all over it and makes for some great entertainment watching people fall over them. But on a serious note take a wide track around this thing or you will end up eating dirt.

The front awning when setup with the standard included poles is to low and even for me at 5'10" was a head hunter. I had some other poles with me that I used instead because there was no way my wife was getting under there.

All in all the tent is great once setup and has heaps of room for a small family of 3. But I wouldn't recommend purchasing this tent if you are elderly or single as it's just so heavy to move around.

I would give this tent 5 out of 5 if not for the weight but I know it would compromise the build quality if the weight was reduced so it's a catch 22 situation.

Sent back for 3 repairs and refused to refund as their policy is to repair before replace and no ref – I bought an Oz tent in 2011 and since this time my Jet tent has been back for 2 replacements and 1 repair. The tent leaked even after seasoning (which is not specified in the manual) and on a 2 week wet holiday I took video footage of the 9 leaks in the tent. I sent the tent away again with the footage and was told it was condensation, not leaks.… Read more

It's taken me 12 months to even look the repaired tent that I have left in the garage in the tend bag since its return. Oz tent refused to refund even after I went to the dept of fair trading because I had had enough. 3 times back to the manufacturer is not acceptable in my opinion. I was told that I should have seasoned the product and that no canvas tent is 100 percent waterproof. WHAT, sorry is that not your guarantee. I would never recommend an Oz tent product to anyone. This will save them the pain and frustration of spending a fortune on a tent to be very disappointed.
