Commercial grade multimedia projector suited to larger areas. 4x3, not widescreen – Have been using this unit in a 120 seat auditorium, fixed roof mount orientation, for about four or so years, mostly for RGB computer display, with occasional composite video. Having a large high quality lens allows it to outperform the small modern units with similar brightness figures. The full rated brightness is 2600lumen (not the 3200 listed above) but have run the unit in Eco Mode (~2000lumuns)for all of its life thus far with acceptable results to a 3 metre timber screen (white-painted hardboard surface, not any special reflective screen) situated about 4.5 metres away, although after clocking up 1500hours on the bulb it is now starting to show a noticeably dull image so is probably time to do a service and bulb replacement. Sadly the bulbs are fairly expensive compared to residential models, but the unit has performed consistently well and there is no justification for replacing it with a whole new model. Plenty of adjustments available for correcting skew screen orientation (both horizontal and vertical) and only quirk is that when changing between different RGB sources the positioning can change/cancel and require readjustment. Reliable. 4x3 not widescreen. Has not failed when idiots have disconnected power before cool-down period. Being a commercial unit was quite expensive. Image positioning prone to shifting under different sources.
