Parfix Expoy … Wont cure – Used s two part Parfix Epoxy … carefully mixed equal parts. 24hrs later it id still soft … what a mess. I understand from other reviews its Dulux … how can you put this into the market … Bunnings should have taken it iff the market long before they apparently did Dont buy it … clear poor quality control and a bad batch

Useless – Never sets just a sticky mess, Absolutely useless I've tried to glue several items but the epoxy does not go hard. I've mixed it according to directions but does not go hard.

Worst Epoxy Adhesive Ever – DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. As everyone else has said, it does not set. It just becomes a firm sticky mess. Looks like Bunnings have stopped selling it. It's not on their website any more.

Biggest waste of time and money – Absolute rubbish, doesn't harden EVER and leaves a sticky mess to clean up. DO NOT BUY this crap. I will be complaining to Bunnings in hope they remove it from their shelves.

Terrible! Doesn't harden! – Purchased some of this a while back and used it yesterday to try to repair the cracked grille on my car. It simply doesn't harden at all. It remains a sticky gooey mess and now I can't remove it!

Reformulation required – If Parfix reads these comments, I can resolve your problems. Have been in this type of business for over 27 years. You need to start again from scratch. Heaven knows who's running your R and D dept.

I concur. This product is utterly useless – This is quite literally the worst, most unfit for purpose product I've ever purchased. It never sets hard.... Like ever.... no matter how much you mix it. Months later, still soft. All it's good for, is coating what ever you are repairing in a sticky gum. Do not buy this stuff. Period.

Same as the others. It's not fit for purpose – It just doesn't set. It only gets to a plastic, gooey, messy consistency and goes no further. It's wrecked the project I was working on. I will have to destroy half of it to recover the other half. Bunnings should remove this from the shelf as it is products like this that will wreck their reputation.

Useless – Same as the above comments. Why a company would produce such a poor adhesive is beyond me . You get what you pay for people. Made a complete mess of my job . Thanks

Doesn't set – Doesn't set. 36h and still soft. Asumed it would be like epoxy usually is, but no, this is not glue its a scam. It has wrecked the parts I wanted to repair.

Worse than Useless – This excrement never sets, it stays soft and gummy. Tried it 3 times with the same result. I mixed it carefully. I have used many different epoxies. This is worse than useless. What a mess to clean up!

Parfix epoxy won't set – This stuff needs to be taken off the shelves. Mixed the two parts with equal measures. After several hours it was about as hard as jam and easily moveable. After a day it was as hard as rubber and had no bond strength.

not catalysing – Prepared the adhesive carefully [ I used to run an adhesive manufacturing plant so I know a bit about them ] nearly 3 days later, it still has not catalysed / hardened. I will wait a few more days, but from experience, this epoxy mix has failed. The likely damage to what I'm working on will be substantial. Seems like Parfix are not managing their products.

OMG worse glue i have ever used – Wood glue would be better than this. I thought how bad can is be? i opened it, i was carful to use even amount of each part, it went real milky when mixed. Applied, clamped and left over night, in morning it still felt tacky, i left is for 4 more hours. Removed clamp and touched it and it fell apart. I have used alridite many times and never, never has it failed me ! This glue is beyond a joke

My batch won't fully harden – I have a similar problem with my batch of Parfix Epoxy Adhesive Maxi Strength 24 mL in the dual syringe purchased from Bunnings in October 2018. I have been using various brands of epoxy adhesives both 5 minute and longer curing types over the last 50 years so know how to mix the stuff and what it sticks best to. After 5 days this current batch… Read more

just won’t fully harden. You can stick your finger nail in and make an indent. In other words it is still not cured properly. I think this Parfix stuff is under the Dulux banner so you would expect it to be of acceptable quality. Looks like I have to throw away the part I was trying to repair. Not real impressed.

Worse than flour and water – I can't actually believe how totally useless and rubbish this stuff is. I assumed being maxi strength, it'd be just as good as any other epoxy, but wow I was wrong. This stuff literally does nothing at all. 16 hours later, parts of it are still wet, while being completely exposed to air. I don't know if I just got a bad batch, but this is without a doubt the least adhesive glue I've ever had the misfortune of trying to use.
