mould, stating he needed to “keep the guys working.” This decision directly resulted in the spread of mould throughout the rest of my home. They also: Cut holes through my subfloor and kitchen kickboards Destroyed timber floorboards and staircase Damaged my kitchen and multiple internal walls Demonstrated no accountability, no professionalism, and no regard for basic building or health standards I am a licensed plumber and gasfitter, and when I challenged the supervisor on these practices, I was told it was “all part of the job,” which is completely false and unacceptable. As a direct result of their negligence, I have suffered in excess of $100,000 in damage and financial loss. I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Based on my experience, their conduct warrants investigation by the Building and Plumbing Commission.

If your insurance company appoints Patterson's to your claim, go back to your insurer and ask them to appoint someone else. Our experience with them was that apart from [Name Removed] who took over our case late in the repairs, the rest of their company are incompetent and unresponsive. until finally we had enough and told our insurer that we would no longer have Patterson's or their contractors on our property and to pay us out instead. Again if your insurance company appoints Patterson's, tell your insurer you want another assessor or want to be paid out instead as the heartache and mental distress from dealing with Patterson's is not worth it.

Made the issue worse – By so called treating potential mould in a long wooden roof beam after a water event by covering the area in plastic they made the issue far worse. Then they refused to take further responsibility.

accepted and approved after a site visit and appointed Pattersons Insurerbuild to do the repairs. Now 10 months later and after having eight site inspections and reports, NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE AND NO REPAIRS COMMENCED. WE DONT EVEN HAVE A START DATE. Do yourself a favour and DON’T INSURE WITH ALLIANZ INSURANCE. If you do and unfortunately get building damage and they appoint Pattersons Insurerbuild, object to Allianz and get them to appoint another building repair company otherwise you’ll never get the works commenced and completed with these cowboys.

Embarrassment to the industry – They no longer exist! For now they're gone, shortfalls of the company were clear. Left an absolute mess behind, kgs of dust spread out through home and yard due to bags of it and a pile of rubbish for the entirety of the job, nails hanging out and all. Couldn't fit all in the review as it would be far too long. Should be wary of a company that can only get work by force, as customers of insurance don't get to chose.

Supervisor was a joke, the works completed are not to standard and works do not meet minimum tolerances. They couldn't care less and was told if we cared that much to go to court, Patterson's are fully informed, did not make any difference, clearly a part of their culture.
