and offered to fix it on the spot for us. However, Perth Garage Co advised the contractor NOT to do it and that the first contractor would return to correct his mistake. We gave the company every opportunity to make amends. After 6 months of getting the run around, we ended up getting this fixed by another contractor and went back to the company for a refund. We ended up lodging a complaint with Consumer Affairs. Perth Garage Co ignored their calls too. We lodged a claim with the small claims court - the owner refused to accept service of notice and declared "no such person exist" when the bailiff presented at their premises. It has been a considerable time since this happened - we wanted to give the company every opportunity to make good. However, they haven't. In summary, I would not use this company and advise others to beware.

Good initial contact, BUT THEN – The initial meeting was good and the sales guy was obliging and helpful. But, they sent an installer new to the job, took all day installing it and after a full day the door was misaligned and set up incorrectly. You would think the sales guy would recommend sensors which only cost $85 to purchase and install which would have prevented the accident, but no. I raised this with the door manufacturer and they said it was a no brainer to install. So overall I was not happy. I then asked for a quote, after already having a good idea bout the price and was quote just shy of $900 for one panel on a door and install that only cost 3k in the first place. Getting the quote took him weeks and to top it off he wants to rip me off. Knowing what I k ow now I would stay clear of this company and especially the sales guy

Great – Had garage door installed a week ago. Price was good . Service was great and it arrived sooner than expected . Happy customer. Would certainly recommend . My neighbour also had one installed on the same day .

Terrible installing and worse service – Within a year the steel wire had snapped and the door fell down just missing the kids . They do not honour their warranty at all , they charged me to fix what the servicemen clearly stated was a installation fault and now it has happened again . They can not be trusted at all

Avoid at all costs – Quoted competitively, install was average. Had some issues and refuses to come and repair. Told me I had one year warranty…website states 10. Ended up paying another company to come repair our door.

Roller Door – Ordered a door 4 weeks ago and was installed yesterday. Great install and no fuss. Not sure what everyone is talking about on here. Would recommend and by from them again.

followed their advice, it looks great. We didn't realise how important a garage door was to the overall aesthetic of the house. It was installed quickly, works just as expected and have no problems since. Just what we expected.

Do your research – I have a $4000.00 garage door that was installed by Perth Garage Doors 8 months ago. Recently it has started to slip and stop half way. I was not advised over the phone that there would be a charge, however after Steve (serviceman) arrived we were advised that his 10 minutes it took to tightened the spring and spray some CRC would come at a cost us $165.00. Steve was very quick ask for payment after his 10 minutes of work! He was advised it would be paid by direct deposit. I contacted Jamie (the Owner) when I arrived home to advise we were not made aware that there would be a fee incurred to tighten the spring and spray CRC on a door, reminding him that the door had not yet been installed for 12 months. Jamie of course believes he did advise us of the $165.00 charge, this would not have been something we would have missed. If your roller doors need re-tensioning within the first 12 months this should be done without charge. Jamie was also very quick to request payment of the $165.00 during my phone call. I pay my bills Jamie of Perth Garage Doors, my suggestion to you is to value your customer more that the almighty dollar. My suggestion is that anybody wanting a garage door should go with a reputable business. Our account has been paid as I am a person of my word, although reading through your reviews I would say you are not. We would not recommend this company to anyone.

Garage door that was never delivered after deposit – I had them out for a quote and paid the $500 for the deposit. I noticed they billed me $505 on my credit card though. I have since asked my bank not to allow them to bill my credit card again. I was told it would be installed inside 2 weeks. If they do not reply to you then if I go elsewhere and then they come back and say here it is we want our money then what ?

In my recent email I have said if its not been built yet then please cancel the order and I would like my deposit back. Always best to say please with anything.

They have not replied.

door in for winter, we are now well and truly into spring and it’s still not done. I heard nothing from him for 5 weeks before I had to harass him for weeks to get any kind of start date. I told him I wanted to keep the current motor, as I had had it checked and it was working well, and two other garage door companies had said I didn’t even need to replace it at all, so I wanted to keep it as a spare. He told me that was fine. Then when finally his workers do come to do the door, they take my motor, against my wishes. When I asked him why they took the motor, he asked me why I hadn’t watched them when they were working and told them I wanted it?!?!? Sorry I had to work that day. He said “the contract doesn’t stipulate that you wanted to keep the motor”. I had to explain to him that the only paperwork we had was his written quote which is a) not a contract and b) only he wrote on it – so yeah, why didn’t he bother to write down what I wanted???? A very good question. He also promised that he would raise the height of the motor in the garage to be out of the way more, also not done. Now he has told me he refuses to reply to any written correspondence with me. His workers also left washers, bolts and bits of plastic all over the driveway and in the garage. I’m assuming the washers and bolts are supposed to be attached in some way to the door???? Not to mention being a hazard to dogs and small children. The whole thing is unbelievable. I saved up for a year to get this door in, the new one is the wrong colour, doesn’t match the house, its unfinished, with mess left everywhere, and my spare motor is gone, against my wishes!

warranties and refuse to answer our calls requesting for someone to repair or replace this dangerous garage door. When we call from a private number as soon as they realize its us they pretend to be someone else or they start swearing at us and hang up. I have been in touch with their suppliers and they have said they are not part of this company and have nothing to do with there unsafe workmanship or there corrupt ways. Please don't be fooled by these scammers keep you family save and go somewhere else legal action is now being pursued to sort these guys out.

The Worst – This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. After dealing with abusive unprofessional staff over the phone they then decided not to even show up to do the job. Now I have to go to the hassle of taking them to court to get my deposit back. DO NOT deal with these guys. Simply the worst!!!
