Zero communications on online orders. Expect to wait… and wait… and wait for your purchase. Ordered 6 weeks ago and still no sign of my purchase. Hasn’t even left the mint yet! If your buying product shop around if communication and delivery is important to you. Will never buy from them again

Tried to purchase 1kg gold bullion. EXTREMELY poor customer service and delays caused the price of gold to increase by $30k before order completion. Requested cancellation, and refund of deposit. Despite numerous emails and being on hold for over 1 hour, no communication. 2 weeks later and my deposit has not been returned!!! Don't trust this company! my35k has not been returned to me!

Terrible experience with Perth Mint online shop -- item (a $75 display case) has defect - their staff provided incorrect instruction for return. After the return was delivered.... still no refund after more than a month. Very bad experience!

Amazing service by Xavier Dry when purchasing my bullion. He helped me in making the transaction a smooth one, whilst training a new team member. The new team member was able to do the task in the fist attempt without any delays. Great service by both.

I recently went to sell some gold bulllion and despite some initial misgivings (about ID due dilligence. Utility bills etc). found the staff to be very professional and accommodating. Will definitely be doing business there again.

Placed an order 22/1 online, have tried to call ( waited on hold over an hour) and email getting no answers on anything. No customer service, No Order Updates, NOTHING. For a company who deals with high value products they do not have any value of their own. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have placed orders with other companies of this same industry and they do not have these issues - so The Perth Mints terrible service is not due to high demand.

staff members just searching searching...I can see ppl just standing in front of staff waiting while staff are searching searching. isn't there a better more robust regulated way. the first 2 counters, like its just waiting waiting

Zero customer service. Email communication is sadly lacking. Tried calling and got a recorded message saying they couldn't take the call and to call back at a later date. Do not recommend.

order was under review by his colleague. When I asked him why it was under review and how long it would take he kept repeating the same crap. So Perth Mint have had my money for nearly 2 weeks but haven't delivered the goods. It appears they're playing some sort of hedging game.

Excuse me, but shouldn’t you proactively inform your customers? Being “busy” is not an excuse to ignore consumers’ rights and interests. I will never do business with your company again — absolutely terrible service!

Perth mint never responds to emails, I can only assume it doesnt exist. It is just some random thought. Two words...perth and mint. Perth mint is a no show...a non event....lax...lame and totally forgetfull. Staring at a blank wall gives better return for time invested

building while waiting for their mother who was making a transaction inside the building. The employee should not scold but should speak directly and politely to the father of the child if they made a mistake. they were in the building for no more than 30 minutes. I hope the perth mint is aware of incidents like this & needs to improve service to a better one because the behavior of the employee should not be practiced here

I went back numerous times to see fine print and details but, no, i sign for no delivery fees for sales over $300 yet I'm about to pay $17.50 As I needed this item for birthday present, I paid full price and waited over a week to be delivered, but one thing is for sure: will never buy from them again. If I have time to browse around on foot, I would but next time I'm going elsewhere

Untrained staff for customer service & products details – Zero customer service as well as untrained staff. 1) Lady from reception was unpleasant. 2) Perth Mint jewellery shop staff is only trained for selling the products and if you ask questions they misguide you and as soon as you purchase the product they were like who you are. Terrible customer service

They use a crap delivery service – They use the worst delivery service ever. Why would you use a company like Team Global Enterprise??? It reflects on your own company. They lie about attempting deliveries. Absolutely disgusting.

came when i looked away to go to the or toilet or make lunch because there was a note in the letterbox saying i need to pick up from bullsbrook. I asked them if i could give permission to leave it outside or take it to Aus post or deliver again but they said no. I contacted perth mint which organised a resend. I stayed home again this time i ran out when i saw the van. Got the parcel and the wrong items were inside. I contacted perth mint. They wanted the items back so i had to stay home again for them to collect. You cant leave it outside or post with Aus post. They then sent back the correct items, which meant staying home all day AGAIN. This time they told me a day and didnt turn up. So i wasted my day sitting and waiting looking out the window. The next week i was given another day so another day sitting and waiting. The items came and they were damaged. I contact them again and my options were to take another 2 plus days off to sit around waiting for the item to be picked up and resent or get a refund. So i got a refund. So 5 days of sitting at home for their courier service and i didnt get my items or compensation for all the time spent waiting on their drivers. I'll never shop with them again, I found it to be an absolute joke and so unprofessional. They dont care about your business or future business at all.

The experience was good – I have had few gold bars as unallocated and allocated for a while online and then got them delivered to home two times. First time there was quite a bit delay in getting the Freight quote but second time it was fast. Both times delivery was seamless and quick( considering I am in another state). Staff I dealt with over email were both very polite. No complaints.

Lack of customer service – My visit to the perth Mint shop was totally underwhelming. The 2 assistants on duty on the counter were basically ignoring customers and it took over 40 minutes to actually talk to one. I wish it was possible to give zero stars.

Extremely disappointed – There was administrative labeling error by Perth Mint. Instead of admitting their mistake, they put the blame on me by saying I didn’t use capital letters for my name as per my drivers licence. My parcel was in Melbourne and had to be sent back to Perth for relabeling. This is the second time I’ve made a purchase and the first order was perfectly fine. I would purchase from resellers from now onwards.

Horrible experiences, EVERY TIME!! – Useless when new releases come out, been stuck in my cart unable to go to check out for 2.5 hours now, been logged out multiple times and takes 10 mins to get back to my cart, just a vicious circle. Limited to 2 coins yet someone over in the USA on eBay can sell 18 coins at very inflated prices. Happens every time and their excuse is there are too many customers at the same time ...... well its well past the time to fix it dont you think

The Perth Mint website needs help – When the Perth Mint have a popular coin release, the website becomes non-functioning and you cannot ring them as the lines are busy. They really need to invest more in a better website that can handle the traffic for online orders. If you are lucky enough to get through on the phone, the staff are quite helpful with taking your order though.

Incompetent – Their online sales and customer service are incompetent. It’s scary to think what they are trading in. Compared to purchasing from the Royal Australian Mint which is not a problem in the world.

Dreadful customer service and hidden charges – I ordered a 20 gram bar from Perth mint. The courier company (Startrack said arrival within 2 working days) . Never happened. Took Perth Mint 2 days to answer an email. Treated me with disdain and said it could take up to 2 weeks. They charged me $33 for using a credit card which actually was a Debit card. Did not receive an email when dispatched either which they say they would send. Do NOT buy from Perth mint.

Trying to open a company account – I wasted 3 1/2 hours in a vein attempt to open an account in my company name. Followed the instructions and only managed to accidently open an account in my own name that I don't want. Tried to close the account but cannot find that option on the website. (let's see if that helps). Still have no idea how to open a company account or close the personal account accidently opened. I cannot remember ever coming across such a user unfriendly website - the web developers should be answering some questions.......

you can't and its misleading and time wasting, the mint people need to do it manually, and the only way to do this is call in and spend hours on the phone, email documents which the mint people don't receive instantly, and then follow up a lot with long phone wait times.

I had an okay experience ordering a small personal amount of silver and gold, it was straight forward once account was established.

My 2nd experience placing large order 90k+ of gold was a disaster, you must call in all SMSF orders which i did, I was noticeably clear and the person taking the order was also clear. they explained for orders over 70K Perth mint must send with an Armor company such as Armor guard or similar. the mint person worked hard finding me the most convenient depo where the gold would be delivered where I could collect it from, also found me the most competitive shipping price and insurance. I made payment, and then started to get tracking info from star track express, and then started to get warnings with failed delivery. The Mint shipped the order using the WRONG company, then they tried to deliver it to the Armor Guard depo which was refused... FACE SLAP.

WEEKS later still trying to track down what happened. Called Armor guard who were helpful, they confirm they do not have the order, and spoke to the mint on my behalf. Still on-going, 90+k of gold missing, and no one is telling me the truth.

Third experience, placed another order for silver for SMSF, called up and placed the order. the mint person missed typed the address, when i received the Purchase Order I noticed and had to call back, another 3 hours on the phone trying to get them to change the address. The mint people are friendly and try hard, but they are battling out-dated processes and restrictions that make their job difficult and problematic. For example, can't just update the PO and resend the PDF in email, must make a new order, and then recalculate the value of silver, tried to send me updated PO with correct address but value of silver changed 300 dollars! I made them work of the old PO, what a kludge. This order hasn't shown up yet, so who knows if it will be okay.

Good luck to you if you have to buy from the perth mint.

Faulty packaging – I ordered some silver from Perth Mint. It arrived with the packaging broken and some silver was visible to the courier driver. Perth Mint blamed the courier, but the packaging was a single sheet of corrugated cardboard. Never an apology.

Silver Medallion – I bought a half oz silver medallion from the Perth Mint, engraved both sides as a memento for our 25th (silver) wedding anniversary. I think it was great value, really nicely engraved and very efficient service, from placing the order by email on a Wednesday to it being notified it was dispatched for delivery on Thursday evening and I had it in my hand by Tuesday morning. Thanks Pert Mint wouldn't hesitate to recommend your service.

Service ?! – Inept service over a period of 4 days. A simple request to purchase silver bullion coins turned into a drama and irrelevancies I stopped trying to communicate and tried a coin and banknote dealer. You guessed it- complete satisfactory service in less than the hour. And what about showing comments by customer where they can be viewed?...let me guess
