Avoid this one. The management team, technical team and administrators do not seen to have a clue or care at all about their clients, sitters or the poor pets looking for sitters.
An absolute joke yet they still try and take 20% despite the huge amount of stress they cause to sitters and owners.
No stars is my true review. The very brief experience I had was terrible, and that was without actually using the service. There is no effective way to contact anyone, the chatbot is hopeless, and the website not great. Sending text messages that cannot be replied to, and a customer service line that calls and hangs up before you speak, is poor.
Wanting to register as a pet sitter, I was required to pay $99 to do an online course and $54 for a Police check that was very hard to get verified. The course which was linked to the RSPCA had appalling spelling, incomplete sentences and quizzed you on material not provided in the learning for that section. After saying you could use your own Police check in the course, when you get to the verification section, you have to use theirs. I wasted hours getting this sorted. Petcloud’s chat bot customer question service was time consuming and useless. I emailed all addresses I could find online and eventually got some help. While other platforms Madpaws and Pawshake could be set up easily, this was stressful and time consuming.
One month later and having applied for many jobs, I’ve had not even one job so I’ve lost $150. Judging by the comments in other reviews, it seems there is a risk I may not get paid for them if I did.
Madpaws and Pawshake were a breeze to set up and they’ve given me plenty of work with lovely pets and customers.
If you’re thinking of becoming a Petsitter, please don’t waste your time and money on this dodgy platform.

Best Dog Sitters around – Obie had the best time with Barry and Oleg. We received regular photos and comments which helped us feel relaxed about leaving him for the first time with strangers. We hope for Obie to spend more time with Barry and Oleg. Great sitters, lovely people and caring.

Apparently that is not the code so I press send again and this time it sends me a number. Apparently that is not the code either. The SMS arrives within two seconds of me pressing send the code so I am sure it is from them. Tried to send them a support message and guess what - you have to sign up to a separate site!

PetCloud was easy to use and the sitter was very responsive. Our Petsitter was excellent. She was very good with my puppy, she looked after her as if she was her own, walked her every day, looked after her beautifully and kept me up to date every day. I highly recommend PetCloud.
Our rabbit, Lola, had an absolutely wonderful stay with Emma. We could not have asked for a more kind and loving carer. Lola was pampered, cuddled and loved by Emma, and we received the perfect amount of progress reports and photos. Would thoroughly recommend Emma, and we will definitely be using her again.

I am a petsitter and have not been able to access my petcloud account because the website and app are not working. I am not able to send messages to the pet owner or receive messages from them. I have tried to contact petcloud on the mobile number provided and also on instagram and have also sent emails to the support team. I have not heard back from anyone and its now been 3 days.
I was happy with my sitter but not the company. Used them for years and always paid for bookings. Negative – I signed up quite a few years ago but never did any pet-sits. Recently signed up but can’t think of my old password, contacted them numerous times no response can’t seem to reset my password on the link the gave me. Already paid for a police check probably for nothing now trying to get a refund for it! What an fing Hassell!

Charged $150 for a sitter that cancelled on us – Booked 2 months in advance , the sitter cancelled 2 weeks before the due date. PetCloud kept $150 of the $530 booking for a service that we didn’t receive. So not only did we have to find a new sitter that we felt comfortable with at short notice we are $150 out of pocket for a service that we didn’t receive and they had our $530 for months. Expensive lesson learnt.
Triple check quotes AND ensure service agreement is consistent – I’m an NDIS client. I was QUOTED $314 for a weekly dog walking service and then charged over $800. Online platform NOT user friendly – The online platform is terribly NOT user friendly. Firstly, search criteria comes up with inaccurate or irrelevant hits. Secondly, every time after I’ve gone into a listed carer’s profile, I have to re-enter the search criteria to view another. Awful and completely unprofessional – Tried to sign up as a pet sitter. Paid for the mandatory background check. Sat through the mundane, spelling error ridden sitter training course. No completion certificate provided which is needed to activate your profile. No answer on the phone. Chatbot is a useless buggy piece of code. Absolute waste of time, and after reading all the reviews of payments being withheld I will be taking my skills elsewhere.

percentage. The only thing it does better than other platforms is let a sitter vary their rate depending on the pet type (dog, cat, other). But it doesn't let the sitter vary pricing for peak periods or amend availability to only be available for some services and not others. Not to mention the useless app which doesn't work at all - I have to log in via a PC every time I want to check messages or update anything, which puts clients at risk of not having their services filled to their specifications (it could actually cause a life and death situation for a pet!).
It took me writing a one star review of them on google to be paid for my last job with them - I was paid in a matter of minutes (after five working days' wait and much obfuscation saying there's nothing they can do) and then I was booted off the platform (no great loss but I can't log in to get my history information for tax purposes). Thanks Petcloud, you're the worst!

Very good service for sitters and for people wanting their dogs cared for – PetCloud is easy to use. I have been a Pet Sitter with PetCloud for a number of years. PetCloud onboards Owners & their Pets for me & sends them automatic reminders so that I don't have client no-shows. I have always been paid on time- in fact very quickly and found their Accounts Dept easy to contact if ever I have a query. Aussie company and service team in Australia. Highly recommended.

PetCloud is a scam - do not use – I am a pet sitter with PetCloud who is owed money from jobs completed. After complaining to PetCloud via the website and notifying them I thought the company was a scam (other sitters owed money according to productreview) the PetCloud website has disappeared! There is now no record of the jobs I need to be paid for.

$8.88 with no pet sitter and had to find someone else last minute that’s costing me over $700. This inconsiderate person has wasted my time and money and not even apologised I personally believe after she had stuffed me around twice she needs to be removed from the site or they should be giving us an explanation as to why their cancelling.

Before you do these things you can’t make your profile and even when you have done the training, you have to email them again to say its done so that they let you put your services up… the entire time I had an account the search results don’t load so you dont know who needs pet care/sitting services and when you do message people the website has issues. I had to email them several times to sort out all of these issues. Never recieved payment from petcloud for my jobs – I have always loved pet sitting for petcloud and whilst pet owners are paying on time and i receive funds in my pet wallet, petcloud no longer have been passing onto my bank account. I have attempted to book phone appointments raise tickets send emails and phone to no avail. I am very disappointed with petcloud and will not be able to continue with this company for my pet work.
As a sitter I feel very disappointed – Have only completed one small job and no problems with customer who paid on time. However my payment has gone "missing" when trying to transfer to my account. Unable to contact anyone from petcloud. Requested 2 callbacks and booked in times and no one ever called. Emailed, raised an incident ticket, raised a dispute on the transaction. Not one response. Wont be booking any more jobs. There are plenty of other competitors to work with.
